Spotted this on another forum, the mobility version (for laptops and the like) supplied by AMD, also hunting down a change log/release notes.

Nothing beats the smell of new drivers in the evening.

EDIT:
Hm, while installing, i've noticed it says my drivers are up to date (i had the 12.4 installed before from the other thread). Strange.

Anybody know the driver version included in this package? The one from the other thread(leaked 13.4 WHQL) is 12.104.0.0.

Driver version can mean very little in a beta. It's possible some things were modified within the driver and the version number wasn't changed.

Update: nope still with the same ole atkmpag.sys bsod when the second card is enabled back to 12.8

also, 13.4cap1 is newer than the internals, so install it.

Hm, despite the same driver it seems to do something. UT3 seems ridiculously smooth now. Even with 24xEQ+SS Transparency AA mode it was perfectly playable. Before, with 12.4 from the other thread, the mouse was all floaty and laggy it was realyl hard to play. But not with these 13.5 BETA. It's a ridiculous amount of FSAA for a single card, but still. Could it be the latency thing fix here?

I have this weird feeling in few games i tested so far that fps did not change much but games seem to be more smooth. This is really weird, especially when i have hd6850.

Anyway.. this driver release seems to be awesome.

hasnt fixed the artifacts in farcry3, fps is lower than before, anti aliasing is absolutely stunning. i havent seen a jagged line yet and everything is extremely playable.

testing a few other games, but so far it looks good for single cards!

Wow I'm actually getting 90%+ gpu usuage in crysis 3 with tri fire 7950's whereas before I was only getting 60%. Good job AMD.
