Welcome to TPU, nice to see you got Titan too, congrats!!

I replaced all my 1/4" barbs and clamps with EK compression fittings, improving the water tightness on my loop:

Hope you guys like them :rockout:

Very nice indeed. You'll never stop tinkering with it now. My one card looks so lonely but i can't justify a second Titan on a single 1440p screen.

My next project might well be a new case. I was toying with a Dimastech test bench set up. Something i could construct for any future build using a prefabbed water set up with quick disconnects. Would only cost a few hundred pounds to set up but would be cool to have.....

But I do love my TJ07....

Thanks, I'm afraid you've created a monster :p

Your Titan may look lonely, but it doesn't take away from the fact that you have a killer rig, your custom WC is among the top 5 I've seen IMHO

The advantage of quick disconnects is that you can replace or upgrade parts in your loop without any hassle, right? Are they worth the added cost?

Hmmm.... lets just say cost should be ignored. Just like what we paid for our gfx cards ;)

Create new thread title?

Hi all,

I figured we could rename this thread the GK110 owners thread? I'm not elitist and figure that the GTX780 and Titan are close enough that we can share a thread?

Given the freedom board partners are being given with the GTX 780 PCB's, I can see the 780's starting to take top spots.

Got to hand it to Nvidia - they played us well. Well, we can always hope JSH chokes to death on his own wallet.

Come on GTX 780 owners, rub it in! :ohwell:

For what matters being a Titan owner to me this could even be a GTX 700 series thread ;)

Go ahead if you want, I'd like some more people in here :toast:

To be honest I'd still buy Titans, but you know the reasons behind it, atleast for me ;)

GK110 owners thread?

FRIENDS FOR LAIF! :toast:

But yeah, Titan owners will still have the superior epeen and compute capabilites, plus twice the VRAM. Not too shabby at all, just an intense price premium.
Titan's were always for one kind of person, and if you're the kind of person that complains about Titan's performance and price, then it merely wasnt catered for that person.
Same story with extreme processors and the AMD Centurion.

Titan's were always for one kind of person...

For me it was about matching dual card performance with the fastest single gpu. I bought Titan on the understanding that AMD were miles away from releasing something new in single cards and that the GTX7xx series was also (at the time) allegedly a long way off.

Still, I had 3 months of smooth gaming with no coil buzz so i don't regret getting one but like i say, for gaming now, unless that 3GB becomes an issue with newer releases based on consoles, Titan is irrelevant.

I may buy a GTX 780 Classified..... Though I figure in the UK that would be close to £700+, so maybe not.

Actually, closer to around £600 at this point. Most are capping out at around £600 mark, unless you visit overpriced e-tailers.

You'd probably have to solder the EVBOT connector yourself...
