I'm starting to think EA is going to kill BF4 before it even comes out... To get the complete game you'll have to pay $110! I mean hell COD is going to at least make you feel like you're the king for $59.99 for a few months, then they are going to ask you for 15 bucks to keep feeling like the king... hehehe So, basicly EA is saying hell if we can't sale as many copies to beat COD then will charge more to our hardcore players, and try to beat them.. Don't get me wrong I want BF4 to be great, but I don't want them to scare off non hardcore battlefield players with a high price point.. Did they not see what PS4 did to XBox1? I'll buy it, but I hope everybody else will as well.

Well though it seems the "Premium Business Model" was quite the success with BF3 so of course they are continuing it. That is a lot of coin for a game but considering BF3 is still my go-to game after all this time I know I will get my money's worth...

Yeah. There is much to be said for increased pixel count and density. At least go 1080P dude. Though not 27" 1080P.

They should at least wait a few months to offer the first dlc and premium.. It seems they have completed all the dlc's and are releasing each dlc like a timed unlock... If all of it is ready then why are we not getting it all in the game.. It's almost as if they are saying the games ok, but for it to really shine you need the dlc.. Standard BF4 is just a sub par game with out the dlc. Next we will be buying dlc for our dlc.. I'm going to go ahead and call dibs on Xtremium! The next level after premium! hehehe I was going to buy bf4 this weekend, but now that I have to pay $110.. I'll wait for beta to see if I even want to preorder it.. You know if premium offered the insurance of no hacking then I would buy it in a minute.. but what do I know?..

Sure I got your insurance of no hacking--play SP only. You should know as well as anyone that there is no "totally secure" software and network. That said, I understand your frustration generally and they could and should do more re. anti-cheat. As I've said in the past I'd like to see a new service besides PB too for a change. Just don't have a lot of faith in it anymore though if the steaming ban notifications are to be believed it def catches at least a fair amount of them on those servers that implement it.

I'll play SP, but that has nothing to do with Premium.. You missed the whole point of what I was trying to get across.. :banghead:

Premium does not add to the SP. Premium is a service and in that service I'd like to have a better system to take care of hackers. I'm not talking about a "totally secure" system.. but I'd like a better system that stops hacking on a quicker scale. Example: A report button with someone on the other side waiting to receive it not a place for the report to go, and set until someone gets around to it. I'm not saying they have to stop it before it happens. I don't expect that, but I would like a better system than the current one in place. They could offer an "X" amount of servers that are monitor for a better experience. There is a number of things they could do better about it. :toast:

You guys are a tuff crowd here. Ha ha. My other monitor is a 17" also @1280x1024. Yea I know, I want a bigger screen, but need to save that $ for the cost of BF4.

Maybe EA/Dice will give us a $99 once and done, all the bells and whistles buy in before the launch date. That would be the ticket.

Why not just pre order and you get china rising which is the first DLC right? Then in a few months you can pick up premium. What would you gain by buying it all at once? Battlepacks?

P.S Would a 3gig vid card do me well for bf4 at 2560 X 1600? thinking of upgrading the 5870 and wonder if the 3 gig cards are worth the extra $$

I want to see what include the VC, maybe is the full game (with premium), maybe just the basic. The thing is that te VC comes in Sept-Oct, if the pack is just basic, I pre order the game on Amazon.

Mindweaver I did agree with you that they could do more (such as what you suggested) and of course Premium doesn't add to SP. That was just a tongue-in-cheek remark cause we can't expect it to be hack-proof, as you seem to agree. So fair enough then.

I seriously doubt they would give the full game and premium with any video card that soon after release date. You never know I guess. Anyone have any ideas on what I said about 3 gig GPU's versus 2 gig when it comes to 2560 x 1600?
