Developed to improve efficiency and increase heat dissipation, VS Series PSUs are manufactured with a unique 3D circuit design. I am probably the only one who do not like those. They might be nice to use, but they look sort of ugly imo.

Ive used flat cables on many Corsair PSUs and they rarely work as advertised, especially around corners/90degree turns, since a flat cable can only bend in one direction effectively, they end up being a pain and impedes air more than anything.

PS. and yea, "VS"? seriously? what's up with the corsair branding here?

If it isn't a top rated gold or platinum PSU on Jonnyguru or Hardware Secrets, I would not recommend buying it. Brand name other than Seasonic who provides most of the quality PSUs to rebranding companies like Corsair, Antec, etc. typically will provide a better PSU with a longer warranty for less cost, if you buy a genuine Seasonic instead of a rebranded PSU. There are only a couple PSU makers who provide top quality PSUs so do your homework before you spend your money or you might get fleeced.

Doesn't look like those two sites have done their own official review of this product, and TPU gave it a very good rating. It also comes with a 5 year warranty, which is in line with what other higher end units have.

I thought the low load efficiencies were very impressive. In real world ROI, if you're going to shell out for a gold / platinum PSU, that matters.
