Seems odd that the onboard video has D-Sub and HDMI without having DVI?

Looks like a sweet little system though. Pretty dang good price as well.

Yes, but mobo and CPU together that only costs 140 dollars isn't a bad price point. Also this has two mini PCI-E slots as opposed to the one on the Z87 board. Either way, it's still an interesting product. Plop a RAID controller in it and I'm sure it would make a great mini-server. The 25-watt TDP is also pretty nice sounding. :cool:

I did also noticed that Gigabyte updated their embedded Celeron ITX option.

...but it doesn't have the mini PCI-E slots or a PCI-E slot at all for that matter.

I did also noticed that Gigabyte updated their embedded Celeron ITX option.

I like both boards and both are priced nicely. I just updated one of my dual core atom rigs to an i3.. If I would have seen that jaguar board I would have picked it up, but my i3 was only around $250 (CPU\Board\Ram).

Worst car they ever made. Good looking though. There is a company "darn" south that will completely rebuild one of these XJS and turn it into a car that works and drives well. (not cheap though).

To stay on topic, it's also worth noting that the A6-5200 is an SoC. There is no hardware on the board to handle USB or SATA. That's probably where they got the room for the extra mini pci-e slot. It's also worth noting that that PCI-E slot is a full 16 lanes, not a chopped down 4 lanes like on other embedded devices that I've been seeing.

I wish it had few more onboard SATA ports. Does the chipset support RAID? If so this would be perfect for a low power server with lots of storage.

If I used it as a storage server, I would put a RAID card in it. 2 SATA ports doesn't cut it for me. Looks like it could make a good HTPC as well.

Not sure. It's probably a bit more powerful, but it lacks an iGPU.

Just the CPU alone costs more than the Jaguar hardware though, for the cost of the CPU you could have a motherboard, cpu, ram, and gpu. Keep in mind that the Jaguar is an SoC, so there is more diverse hardware on the CPU. This would be better compared to other Intel embedded solutions, which aren't nearly as enticing if I do say so myself. The only thing I don't like about the board/cpu I posted is that it only has a single-channel memory controller. Even Intel's embedded celerons have dual-channel, but not nearly as much CPU power.
