Lamptron announced the CM615 multi-channel fan-controller. Built in the 5.25-inch form-factor, it can handle up to six channels, supplying up to 30W of power, each. The controller draws power form a 4-pin Molex connector, and plugs in to your motherboard, using a standard USB 2.0/1.1 header. Using that, it can interface with its included software, which can let you monitor, log, and stream your cooling data over the Internet. The controller features a brushed aluminium bezel, framing an LED touchscreen. The controller lets you control fans either arbitrarily, or using temperature targets, with which the controller handles speeds to maintain a target. You can also create speed/temperature curves using the software, for the controller to follow. It features start boost, with which you can fire up all fans to 100%, at system start-up. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability information.

So close! They should be using SATA power connectors by now.

I have an el cheapo psu which comes with only 2 SATA cables: one to H100i and the other to HDD. Molex is actually advantageous to me right now. They can supply SATA power + converter I suppose.

Might need to get some heatsinks on those chips.. Looks nice shame it only does fans.

:wtf:

That's a bad Fourstaff! Whatever you have under that H100i deserves better than that.

I personally don't want to have to put in an entire string of molex connectors for my HX850 just to power one fan controller.

wow, a worthy successor to its fc touch!

put me down for one!!! as far as i know, there are NO fan controllers which you can set a temp-speed curve to just like a pwm...

this is welcome news for watercooling :rockout:

i think there is a current draw restriction to sata power connectors.
