I-O Data today introduced the LCD-AD172SEW-P, a 17-inch monitor that promises to reduce eye strain by lowering the intensity of the blue light by up to 60%. I-O Data's display also comes with the Eco-keeper function which lowers brightness when the user is not present, and has a low-reflective screen coating that is fingerprint-and scratch-resistant.

The display LCD-AD172SEW-P features an LED backlight, a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, VGA and DVI connectivity, and two 1 W speakers. The monitor is backed by a three-year warranty and is set to become available in early December.

Blue light reduction feature? All my monitors have had that. What's more, mine reduces blue light intensity by up to 100%!

Also, just install f.lux if you want to piss-tint your screen. No need for special overpriced hardware.

Hmm, ok.
I recognized myself because i usually don't have tendencies to call someone an idiot :)
But this thing with constant techpowerup articles about I-O data monitors started to annoyed me so much because i could never find one to buy anywhere.
So i even decide to sign up here to find out if i am crazy or those things dont even exist

As they're built for an office environment, they might not be available to the retail market. It might be a bulk purchase only kind of situation. Only guessing though.

I don't see these being particularly desirable over other offerings though. At least not enough to actively seek them out. There are other similar, if not better, offerings out there for reasonable prices.

Just for the future reference ,if providing an URL is to much of a mental effort
to disprove this simple point:

INTERNET NEVER HEARD OF I-O data MONITORS (except of every other techpowerup
article)

...maybe you should refrain your 9-volt brain from arguing against it.

Don't take it personally, hellrazor does have a 9-volt brain that is perpetually angry, especially about monitors and Microsoft.
