everything is grey. the searchbox background is white. your monitors are set too bright, which is why you get a headache after working for a while
I have my monitor properly calibrated and I do see it uses a light shade of grey. But I too believe it is just too bright. I would love if it would either a) be a lil' bit more darker w/ more contrast between the background and [all the light-blue stuff], b) inverted brightness of the color scheme (which in the end would sum up into "white text on a dark background"), or c) at least more contrast between the background and [all the light-blue stuff]
Well, that is just my suggestion and thus this applies greatly ('cept s/your/my/)
ALSO, if I set to use the rich text editor by default, I do see "buttons" to go between the rich text and plain text editors. But if I set to NOT use the rich text editor by default, I don't have any way to switch to the rich text editor if I need it - the "button" is no longer there. I do prefer to use the plain text one, but I sometimes need to hop to the rich text one in order to add smileys (as I did not memorize all of them yet). So I would love it if there would be a way to pop into the rich text editor when having the plain text one by default. If it is not too much of a problem to do, of course
