So here we go again. :D

You have successfully registered for the My.com beta test. We will inform you by email, when the test will start.
A My.com forum account has been created for you.

if game mechanics are better then wot's i am in

If I understand correct it's an arcade game too.
TBH I'm very curious how it will be.
Graphics should be amazing but in the end all it matter is gameplay.

If there are tanks count on me.

i dont mind arcade.
my problem is with shitty balance and game mechanics that favors only russian tanks

It looks like Battlefield 3 Armored Kill, i`m still hoping for a MMO like M1 TankPlatoon 2 or SteelBeasts.

Nice to see some of my WOT friends on board already! :toast:

Shameless copy/paste from their forum where a guy gather all the info until now from developers.

Here's What We've Learned from the Previews
So in no particular order, here's the relevant info gleaned form the half dozen or so previews posted in the Preview thread:

From the Boss of Obsidian, Feargus Urquhart

""And the player's going to have to choose how they want to play, and how they want to improve their vehicles. Ideally, the players that are jumping into these tanks, and different types of anti-tank vehicles, they're going to feel a sense of ownership.""

Extensive "progress" trees.

Multiple tiers of "unlockable tanks".

You start with a "fresh vehicle" and add "different upgrades and customization parts".

Fully destructible environment

15 V 15 PVP mode

Co-op 4 player V AI PVE mode where you compete with the other human players for "points and the like" (whatever that is). PVE will be story driven it seems.

"very complex" upgrade system for weapons and armor

Movement and shooting and view controls are very similar to WoT.

Spotted enemy vehicles have a red outline as per WoT.

Tanks have "larger" (ie non realistic) ammo loads - may be selectable though.

Consumables such as fire extinguishers again like WoT.

Mentions multiple "lives", so maybe respawn or full garage mode

Default view is third person, moving to first person for gunnery, again like..WoT. What else could they do though.

"“We want the PvE mode to be a completely valid way of playing the game,” Obsidian designer Rich Taylor said. “It’s not like, oh, well, you play this first, and then you graduate to PvP. If you want to only play PvE, our goal is to have that be a very satisfying experience with full progression available in it.”"

Health bar, yes confirmed.

Your crew will be "upgradeable" and will "influence your progress", whatever that means, and will be "characters" in their own right.

Mercenary mode, where you work for a private military contractor and unlock the vehicles they are equipped with. Not sure if this is the primary mode?

Your "base", "workshop" or "garage" will be customizable "with structures almost like an RTS" and will have "some effect" on your progression.

"In terms of progression, Obsidian assures that fans of their deep, gear-laden RPGs of past and present should have plenty to work toward."

Armored Warfare is being billed as “free to compete,” with microtransactions probably including the usual fare of XP boosts and cosmetic upgrades. Karabaich stressed the importance of keeping everyone on a level playing field within an actual match regardless of how much real cash they’ve spent on the game.""

"Territory Wars" Clan based mode, similar to CoD:Ghosts Clan Wars Mode

No ponies or princesses.

That's about all I could get from these, please feel free to add anything I've missed or expand on the points above.

So it looks like it will be a WoT with modern tanks and some other fancy stuff.

Shame. I'll give it a try but I will probably play for 15-20 minutes and then never bother again. The MMO/free to play trend is terrible. Charge me $40-60 for a good game, no grinding nonsense and some real gameplay and I'll play. A semi realistic armor game would have been splendid. I want to spend time playing, not babying digital crew members, waiting in absurd match making ques or unlocking junk. Sad state we are in for gaming.

Fortunatly (or unfortunatly dependant on your view) a few million WOT players don't agree! In any case, loads of games have some form of grind, take Battlefield for example, you only get certain equipment/weapons at an acheivement point.

Yeah, this F2P model is fine for me. In fact it gives me a motivation to play (I need that module, I need that next tank, I need that crew trained, and so on).
If it will be one time pay for me it will be boring. Everyone have exact same stuff so why should I play this or that.
Sure is nice to have all from the start but in the end I'll be bored.

If you like/and have the time to grind games like Diablo 3 or Battlefield offer unlocks, i too dislike the F2P model since a guy who has more free time and/or money is "better" than me but not thanks to his/hers gaming skills, but thats another discution.

I agree, well in part I do, however, unlike Battlefield, if you take something like World of Tanks, you would not ever be playing against those who have thrown money at it because it is likely that they will have the higer tier tanks already, plus many of the "premium" tanks are not quite as good as their same tier brothers so when you did grind and get to the higher tiers the wallet warriors would find temseves at times in inferior tanks with much less experience than you have gained.

A new trailer from today.

Or lordy, another tank game... like Wot wasn't time consuming enough! Already signed up for the beta!

I am only asking for a good looking scenarios and vehicles (realism) and moderately realistic weapon impact, that no free to play game gives so far. Steel Armour Blaze of War with good MP.

Interview with boss.
Looks nice but I want to see how gameplay looks because words and intentions are not enough. :)

An interesting idea.

today we’re going to share a little bit about how you’ll acquire new armored vehicles and how you’ll progress in Armored Warfare.

In Armored Warfare, you won’t represent a nation. Instead, you’ll take on the role of an independent private military contractor. You’ll be able to acquire technology from a variety of sources, who won’t be beholden to a particular nation, ideology, or even side of a conflict.

Acting as Commander of your own private military companies, you must conduct business with influential Arms Dealers in order to succeed and prosper. These Dealers are the brokers between defense contractors who manufacture armored vehicles and you, the player, who wants access to the latest and greatest technology on the market.

And at Gamescom they'll made an announcement about CBT.

While we’re there, we’ll be giving everyone a lot more information about Armored Warfare’s progression system as well as making a very important announcement about the Armored Warfare beta!

Whole story here.

cant wait for this game to come out.
after a mount brake played yesterday wot for few hours. :puke:
fail game mechanics, 95% of time teams are retard fiesta (higher the tier is more retards you get), fail mm.
i hope AW will not be such dissapointment as wot

I guess all of us WoT veterans (and War Thunder GF players like me) are hoping that AW will be a success. :)

Gimme AW nao! :D

I bet it's not as good as Armored Fist when that came out and anyways there is always Arma 3 if you want more realistic, although kinda interested but Obsidian suck at games and they should stick to story telling.

So maybe it will have a good story and would be nice to see at least 2 people per tank but with only 4 people coop it not going probably happen.

Two things that have my interest and that's the game engine and possible good story.
