Which 5.1 Satellite speakers should I choose for Ceiling corners?

Hi Guys,

I need to know ,

Which 5.1 Satellite speakers should I choose for Ceiling corners?

I liked Logitech Z506 , but i don't think the satellite speakers wires are long enough till my room corners over the ceiling. my room is 11 feet by 13 feet

Which Satellite speakers connectivity should I choose ?

I guess my ceiling engineer gonna keep red and black wires at ceiling corners.....

Do I need to buy 5,1 system with such connectors then ?

Another very important thing that I need to know that , does all 5.1 speakers systems plays surround sound, like if action scene is going on then bullet firing will be heard from back speakers and and human voices will be heard from front speakers like that ?

Please answer above question too.

You can actually extend the speaker wires that goes to the rear speakers.

Yes all 5.1 ch speaker will be able to do it, provided your receiver is capable of sending those signals properly.

but then agin if i change speakers system them i cant run cable through ceiling.........

Logitech Z906 said to be best for movies and games but not for music,, ohhhhhh then which one is best one ?????????? for all three games, music and movies ????

I never had to change speakers in the last 5+ yrs, changed houses tho, I bought the longest possible cable.

Change the 5.1 setting to 2.1 and the speakers will sound good for music. Don't think there is all-in-one solution for that price range. Try Bose if are willing to spend money or some other premium speakers.

Stay away from Logitech audio. Especially if you want true audiophile experience. Get real speakers.

Yamaha, Klipsch, Energy, Polk Audio all make good systems.

Can't go wrong with Yamaha. I use a Yamaha amp running a set of PSB Alpha HT1's as my 5.1 setup never disappointing.

That is one review. A USER REVIEW.

Sound can be subjective too. One sounds good to one person, might not be quite the same for someone else.

Best speaker at a low price are the Boston acoustics. Any series as long as they are a complete set. I don't recommend mixing. You can go on eBay and find whole sets for dirt cheaper. They sound really good, but your speaker are as only good are your receiver is.

Regardless of speakers you choose, I recommend this double jacketed speaker wire from Monoprice for any in wall or extended length applications. I used their 100' spool to set up a home theater system for a friend of mine who's wheelchair bound, and it's been very durable.

monopirce is of no use for me despite being best as suggested by some guys here, it ships only to US and Canada, not India.

Guys, Today I went to market the YAMAHA YHT 497 is not available there but Yamaha 196 is there for rs.22k and 299 for rs 35K.

The shopkeeper also said that if I need tight bass then I should go for Active woofer which requires external power supply.

He was also recommending me Pioneer HTP 072 , hows is it ? Please advise.
