nice card, but i dont get it with their shroud design. and the fans, only 5 blades? so it should spin pretty fast to move more air

There's actually 10 blades. The 5 smaller ones are supposed to direct air more evenly towards the middle of the fan. I think air cooling a 500W+ card is a bit optimistic, personally. We'll see, I guess.

Three slots worth of radiator should do the work good enough.

yeah but i dunno, small fins wont flow more air, it may improve the airflow but i dont think it would boost the cooler performance and it looks bad

with a Razer Ouroboros include ... hum ... dream on, not that they will add the value of a "gift" to the retail price ofc ... but i rather would be buying this card without that mouse, oh well huge reselling potential for the mouse, for those who dont like at all Razer (knowing the price of a Ouroboros, indeed good bargain)

FWIU AMD is not allowing custom output configuration for the 290. It might also apply to this card.

Ha, love the "turbo timer" idea. This card looks pretty, and I can't wait to see the power consumption with 4x8pin connectors!

However, whoever wrote the press release at PowerColor didn't do a very good job, as this one is riddled with grammatical errors, not even counting the whole germs>gamers hiccup.

About time we start seeing some non-reference dual-290X cards. What's even more refreshing is that it's completely air-cooled and has a proper number of power connectors. Kudos, Powercolor.

They might include the Razer Ouroboros ($150) to add value rather than undercut the 295x2 price. I hope not, but we might be looking at another $1500 card. I'd rather see a full cover water block option. With the custom PCB it might be a better O/C'er if given proper cooling. I just don't see how an air cooler is going to accomplish that. Could be wrong though, we'll see.

Razer Ouroboros ($150)

for me it's more 185chf (206.05$) for a Ouroboros ... yet it's (imho and imho only) a horrible mouse highly overpriced over any other "wireless gaming mouse" who have better build quality to back up their lower price.
