Dayz stand alone will be fixed one day just look at all the hats ingame. I can tell this game is on track and will be finished soon. Its not like the main dev is trying to leave the team or anything. He will make shure the job gets done so we can all simulate ourselfs.

It is. I am sure there will be a ton of early access games that will never be finished once enough developers realize it is a super easy way to make a buck without doing anything.

It isn't the start, it may never be finished, but WarZ is probably the starting point for games that won't be finished.

The "Enter" key. Lower right on your keyboard. Also make sure you're not on a hardcore server.

I've been looking on YT on how to save my character so that when I log out I have all the stuff for the next time I join and I lose everything I gained..
very frustrating... I know that it can be done but how do I do it?

First thing you need to change is your resolution. This is located in two areas in the options. If you can find it, but it's tough to read, just select it and scroll down to the bottom option (that'll be your resolution).

These are the settings I use. I'm using 2560x1440, but it works just as well on 1080p.

You just need to find a different server. For some reason there's quite a few broken servers that just don't work right and you'll spawn in as a fresh spawn.

I was watching this one video of this guy showing the best way to set up the settings and I should have left it alone, I have a 50 inch monitor and it was working fine, I was trying to make it so when I turn everything wouldn't be all blurred out.
I went on a server that only one other player in it so I could get stuff, and I did, I got some food and drinks and then I logged out and spawned in another server as female character. So when I get home from work I'll work on getting my res. figured out.

I guess they must be tied together somehow because in the mod they had zombies fixed pretty quickly.
