The coolest running graphic card I had was my HD 3870 with a ThermalRight heatsink.
GPU temperature 47 degrees Celsius at full load, ambient temp at 29 degrees Celsius!

I have a msi 9600gt runs 38c idle and load with a giant xigmatec battle axe.

from my notes this ran at 775 core /1950 shader/950 memory

I currently have a laptop with GTX770M 39c idle, ambient temp 28 degrees celsius.

33C ambient. 7790 with stock cooler is now at 41C.

I idle at 26*C with ambient of 25*C. Load varies, it can still get quite hot.

I have an old fanless 8500GT which runs at 90ish idle and load normally. I stuck a noisy old 120mm fan to it, and it stays around the high 30s.

If we're counting 100% fan speed, Sapphire R9 270X Vapor-X:

Idle: 32*C
Game: 43*C

I thought my 7770 was cool.

It ran at ~50c even at 1300Mhz and 120% PT. I only had to bump the fan speed a little and it stayed nearly silent.

Oh, I forgot about Sapphire's HD7770! I sold it, but temps: 32 - 46*C, fan speed never go above 50%! If I manually set fan speed to 100%: 28 - 38*C. This model:

Really good card. Peformance = GTX460, quiet, cool, low power, cheap
