PNY, the leading manufacturer of memory products and PC peripherals, has officially announced the extreme HP x755w USB 3.0 flash drive for lightning fast transfer and various capacities of all your documents and files. The HP x755w packs unparalleled transfer speed and generous capacity into a pocket-sized package. Experience accelerated data transfer up to 90 MB/sec and 30 MB/sec sequential read and write speed. Equipped with USB 3.0 transmission speed, this flash drive can perform significantly faster than other generic USB 2.0 models available in the market. Light, compact and trendy, the HP x755w makes the perfect travel-friendly flash drive no matter where you go.

The HP x755w dramatically reduces the time spent for transferring files. It enables fast boot up without creating any lagging time and saves hours by reducing the transfer time in a few seconds. HD videos, graphic rich images and PDF files can be moved and stored easily in an instant. Easy plug and play operation means you can simply connect the USB to your computer or notebook and start transferring your files immediately. It does not require any extra installations or software to operate.

The HP x755w adopts a cool blue-white color scheme for a classic yet trendy look. It is made up of durable material that can withstand dust, and protect your USB so that it can perform smoothly. The clever retractable cap-less design does away with the traditional use of caps in USB drives, which means you don't have to worry about misplacing the cap. Simply push the drive forward when in use and slide it back when you're done transferring your files. It comes with an integrated strap hole that can be attached to key chains, lanyards, handbags, and backpacks. With its compact and small size, the HP x755w is extremely portable and can be slipped easily into your pocket.

The HP x755w USB 3.0 is also backwards compatible with USB 2. 0 enabled computers and notebooks, as well as other USB 3.0 models. The storage capacity range from 8GB to 64GB respectively, and is compatible with all versions of Windows and Mac OS: 10.3 and above. The HP x755w offers ultra-fast transfer speed and maximum storage capacity in an extremely affordable price. It is backed up with a limited warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase.

I agree with @Reader. This is just another piece of cr@p from this sh1tty duo. My old x705w has same, if not better seq throughput. I just tested with crystal disk mark just to make sure. This is ridiculously slow for usb 3. "Ultra fast" my a$$. Even my HDD is WAY faster @ >150MBPS seq r/w average.

4.5x the price speed? This flash drive is relevant to the public, the Thunder 4 is only relevant to those who have copious amounts of money ;)

Having been released in Jan 2013 I still don't see any thunder 4 for sale... least not on amazon or newegg.

90mb/s read and 30mb/s write is okish for a usb3... specially a compact one. That said it really isn't anything special either.

WOW, as all mine have been destroyed by dust, J/K like wth. The person who came up with that needs to be fired before they make some thing that can withstand fresh air as a selling point.
