The Cooltek UMX2 is a compact full ATX case with a designer body. Constructed of solid aluminum and utilizing an interesting approach to the interior layout, it does not only look good, but sounds intriguing as well. But is it all superficial beauty or does it also have what counts on the inside?

It could have been brilliant, Silverstone revisited.
As it is, just an opportunity missed.

What a waste.

Actually it is a Chinese brand... And I am a Chinese.. It is really popular in China and people who want to buy a nice itx case or matx case always choose this brand. The Chinese name of this brand is 乔思伯(qiao si bo)

I quite like it, it's the stylish chassis I've been looking for that's small and sleek, but doesn't completely break the bank. Could I ask, does that single 140mm top fan mount have 120mm mounting holes as well? I'd like to put an Asetek 120 rad there.

It's made by Jonsbo, but it's sold in Europe by Cooltek and in the US by Rosewill. While Cooltek keeps the original Jonsbo product names, Rosewill uses their own product names. For example Jonsbo/Cooltek UMX2 is called by Rosewill the Legacy MX2.

I bought case two days ago and it is OVERLY beautiful, i'll be building a system inside it on saturday. having to remove the two bottom fans is simple no problem for me. design is awesome and it more like a matx size case. Let me know if you guys would like to know anything about it

The largest problem with the design of the case is that its bottom-to-top cooling approach makes the CPU and GPU very hot. It is the same with the Lian Li PC-A55.
However, for that price, you could almost buy a Silverstone FT02 which has a similar design and has far better cooling.

this review states that you have to remove fans at the bottom, complete opposite. Cables fit in behind the fan with ease. Also the cpu cut out in my case I perfect not like what's shown in the pics here. I think they might have fix the release models.

A great review and very nice looking case.
It appears to have enough room underneath to move the two bottom fans underneath, instead of having them take up room inside.
I'd like to see one of these modded to allow for a 240 Radiator at the top.
