GALAX, a leading manufacturer of premium graphics hardware, today announced the launch of an entire new lineup of custom performance tuned and overclocked GTX 960 Series graphics cards. Three new models will be available, each with unique advantages to satisfy the precise needs of discerning enthusiasts. The GTX 960 SOC leads the pack in pure performance, featuring the highest overclock and an extended PCB with powerful triple fan cooler and anodized aluminum backplate.

The GTX 960 OC focuses on maximizing speed in minimal space with a super compact design ideal for Mini ITX and HTPCs. Finally, the GTX 960 EXOC combines the best of both worlds for an impressive balance of power, efficiency and cooling capacity. The 960 OC and 960 EXOC are also the first to feature GALAX exclusive Silence Extreme Plus technology, which disengages both fans at idle for true zero decibel operation.

All three models feature the full range of graphics technologies recently introduced with GALAX GTX 970 and 980 series cards, including NVIDIA GameWorks, GameStream, Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR), and Global Illumination (VXGI). Each card individually supports up to four simultaneous displays and users can connect multiple GTX 960s in SLI for massive performance scaling.

The GALAX GeForce GTX 960 SOC, EXOC, and OC versions are all available now at leading retailers and etailers worldwide.

I learned about them yesterday. Never heard about them before.
Depending upon how PC Partner is doing, Galaxy/GALAX (and their KFA2 brand) are part of the #1 or #2 graphics card makers worldwide. Palit is the parent company. You can sometimes see the similarities in design and choice of clock speed with other Palit brands, including Palit themselves, Gainward, XpertVision, and the (possibly defunct) region specific brands Vvikoo, Daytona, and Yuan. Palit also design for PNY (as does PC Partner).

The Galaxy name was already trademarked in some countries where that were expanding into, so they invented the KFA2 branding to avoid legal problems.

I knew that galaxy and KFA2 were related but the thing its that they don’t ever bother to make a new box, they just recycled designs… lol…
Thanks for the info anyway!

i like the way they designed the box. lol. its seems attractive to me. especially the coloring thing. the dark image of a person seems something different cmpare. its cool

from maxwelll, they are all around different and better than previous. GPU physically looks beautiful. the SOC,EXOC, and black editions. all are good one. i think only GALAXy offer led/colored fans on heatsink.
