Hello fellow members. I`m new here, and sorry if the post is in wrong section. Please mod move it if it is :).
I had wierd CS:GO crashes since january. http://postimg.org/image/4vyf85gad/ Here's a screenshot of the error. It occurs when i join a game and start playing. (ususally happens 1-3 minutes after i start a match).
Things i've tried:
-runing memtest(no errors)
-reinstallation of all drivers
-reinstallation of steam
-verifying game cache
-removing/moving the game directory
-reinstalling windows(few times)
-reinstalling directX
-removing X.M.P profile from my bios

The problem persist after all of this things done. I will attach latest crash dump, newer screenshot and a msinfo32 file for more information on the case.

Also the wierd thing is that when the game crashes, i dont see nothing releated to steam/cs:go in event viewer.
It just doesnt show up as a crash in EV.

Do you have EVGA Precision installed?
go to your "cfg" folder in your gs:co folder in the common folder and then open "video.txt"
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg
then change these two values to "0".
"setting.mem_level"
"setting.gpu_mem_level"

What video card and which driver version?

Memtest is nice, but it's certainly not fool-proof. Things to try:

Drop system ram speed / increase latencies / bump up a notch of voltage.

4 sticks of ram? Try taking half out to see what happens.

Drop cpu speed / bump up a notch of voltage.

Install MSI AB and drop gpu core clock and vram clock 5-10% / bump up a notch of voltage.

Check CPU temp with CoreTemp when CPU is loaded with AIDA64 / some stress tester.

I have Gigabyte r9 270 with 13.12 driver. I have Fx 8320 CPU, 2 sticks of 4 ram (8gigs total) running on stock 1333mhz. Disabled X.M.P profile for memory.
I've tried lowering, increasing CPU speed to 4ghz nothing changed.
My temps on heavy load dont go over 60C
and 50C on GPU.

Man, the only thing I can dig up is "reinstall Windows" lol. It seems like a popular error message. Seems like a software issue, not hardware. Good luck!

variantC <- note the capital C is an indication that someone on the server is cheating. Use another server, or unload your mods if any.

Google "engine error player/tm_leet_variantC.mdl" to read what I read.

Try reset any overclock to normal settings (BIOS settings for example), that applies to your CPU, RAM, and Video Card, any new parts you installed recently, swap to old part see if it works, and when reinstall Windows, install latest video card drivers first (Omega stable version), then steam, and download CS:GO online (don't use backup) without any other stuff installed (ok maybe network card for going online, or sound card...)) see if it works.

I've tried installing windows and downloading only GPU drivers, steam and the game itself. And it crashed. I havent installeda any new parts. The system was build last year and i had no problems till january ( 200+ hours played). I`m running on stock clocks on everything atm.

Is it only cs go online that crashes? Try offline see if it crashes. If that's the case might be network card. Try either update drivers or test with another network card or usb adapter.

Are you re-installing Windows and re-using the cs:go folder, or re-downloading the game too? The internet says that file is not part of the stock game.

There is a known problem between AMD FX cpus and steam , try orochi-ceg http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2514606 ,also skype can cause crashes close it and try , other reasons audio drivers and also disabling multicore rendering may help

'' 1) Are you running SKYPE at the same time, as in are you in a call on skype with friends when you're playing? IF YES. This might actually be the problem, there are reported computer Crashes/Freezes with lots of games and Skype when you're on a call and playing a game at the same time.
This actually happened to me, I was on skype and playing CS:GO competitive, and every time my computer was Crashing as in HARD RESET had to be done.

2) CHECK YOUR AUDIO Drivers. Do you have many audio devices enabled (this also has to do with skype. Potentially rolling back your audio drivers to a more stable release may help. It turns out there are many conflicts with NVIDIA HD Audio Drivers and REALTEK HD AUDIO Drivers. YOU should probably only CHOOSE one or the other if this pertains to you, because this could be causing your games INCLUDING CS:GO to crash. If you go to your device manager and see conflicting audio drivers, this may be the issue.

3) For CS:GO specifically make sure you disable your Multicore rendering in the video options tab if you haven't already. This will make the game (at least for me), more stable.

This is a known problem between steam and FX cpus. Updating motherboard bios might be permanent solution if motherboard manufacturer gave support to fiz this problem with new bios ( it is risky prosess ask for help )
I have Fx 8320 CPU

How is this possible ? It is publicly known and wide-spread problem, One of them should have been helped you.
I`ve been in contact with gigabyte, amd, microsoft and steam's support. None of them could identify where the problem comes form
