I know not many people play this, but has anyone been having performance issues? Can't seem to get over 40% GPU Usage on AVG. Getting very annoying as I have it set to Low and still get crap frames. No Issues in other games just pCars...

Question about payment, i was a backer since KS, how would i buy the full version of the game on Steam ? pay the difference to the full price ?

Did you pay with PayPal? If so I think they are giving full refund then you go to steam and re buy it. I'm not 100% I'm a full member, they also may send out a promo code to the original email, so you only pay the difference, I'm not for sure what one they went with. I think they were having trouble with the way steam does payments.

I don't remember what class you have to be to get paid, but make sure your PayPal is verified so you can get your cut of the game.

I was on the forum I just found the page, As announced before, Junior Members & Team Members will be receiving a rebate or discount based on their initial commitment. Due to the way Steam handles rebates/ discounts, we will not be able to offer the fixed rebates (10€ for Junior Members, 25€ for Team Members) we originally planned. Instead, members will be receiving a percentage-based rebate (20% off for Junior Members, 50% off for Team Members) based on the Steam retail price in your region. Since Steam prices differ from country to country, the actual amount of the rebate can vary between members.

Also if anyone is wondering with my system <--- I get around 14-28FPS on low to Medium at 1080p. With 7 AI. The game uses (CPU97% of mine) and (RAM3.8GB) a lot.

I pre ordered it on G2A, cost me less then if i got it on Steam directly. But they havnt sent me the key yet so i cant play. Just gotta wait til i get the key then i can download and play.

Can you guys post settings and FPS? i wanting to know how others do I'm still currently downloading, been around 8days now 3rd time... each time it gets about 98% it starts over again..... at 128K DL.

With everything at max settings it is beautiful, not "crysis" when it came out, but very very good. FPS not checked yet, but it is buttersmooooth..
Playing with FSAA and MSAA settings, but using Geforce Xperience as a baseline.
Turned Motion Blur off, it is as annoying as a Starbuks employee.

Just started playing the game with a xbox controller and its total crap. Love the game but its a game you need wheel and pedals for sure. Any recommendations on a good wheel.

Does anyone know if there's a way to reduce or disable the excessive camera shake in chase cam view?

I managed to win the Kart and Superkart championships, but the camera shake on some courses started becoming a real pain to deal with.

Got another question.

I started out on Kart racing, and completed the championship in that and SuperKart, plus all the offers that came up when you jump to the current day on the calendar. Now it seems to have finally come back to the first Kart event I started out at, but with Superkarts instead of Karts. I don't know if I'm at the end of the discipline or if it will continue on to other disciplines like it did from Kart to Superkart. Plus I'm not liking some of the offers that are coming up, like the slow arse classic touring cars stuff.

My question is can I go back to the screen that shows all the various race disciplines and jump into any type of racing? I don't see a way to do that. This menu is not very intuitive.

Thanks to anyone that can answer. For now I've resolved to play other games until I can get this sorted out. I Googled for it but came up empty.

Yeah I tried New, but then the profile stats are blank. Do they actually expect you to start a new player profile, pretty much new game, every time you switch disciplines?

Are you talking about AMD CPUs or GPUS? It plays as well as can be expected on my 7970 with i7 950.

As for wheel and pedal, I suppose that depends on what settings you want to play on and how good you are with other control devices. I'm playing on just KB for now and managing to easily win (by 5 to 15 sec) all races on Novice level, which doesn't even use the lowest AI setting. If I leave all assists on I could probably bump AI up to somewhere at or near Med level.

The way this game is made it adapts to a lot of skill levels, preferences and control devices. It's definitely not a SIM only game, it's very flexible.

I backed this game years ago, glad to see it finally released. I have gone back over to space sims from racing sims. I have an XBox 360 controller..I too read that many feel this requires a wheel and pedals....good to see that some users like Frag are proving this isn't the case. I don't expect to go beyond Novice-level status yet anyways. Can't wait to fire this one up.
