Unable to turn Off Frame Rate Limiter in Nvidia Inspector [Solved]

Yesterday I bought a new game, VRC-Pro, it was not listed in Nvidia Inspector so I set the Frame Rate Limiter at 40fps in the _GLOBAL_DRIVER_PROFILE (Base Profile), so I did, worked fine.
But today I wanted to turn off the frame rate limiter, but it stays stuck at 40 fps now, I'm unable to save the value "Off", even if I click "Restore this value to Nvidia default", the value stays at 40 fps .
I can save the "Off" value, but when I re-open the settings again it's back to "40 fps"
Does anyone know how to fix this?

If it's impossible to change the only thing I know for sure that'll reset the driver settings is re-installing the driver. I use NVI fairly often but have never messed with that setting. Could you try setting a different game profile and then revert back to global setting and maybe it would clear????

I tried to revert back to global settings in the nvidia control panel, this option seemed to work but the frame limiter in nvidia inspector stays at 40!
I could not change other settings in nvidia control panel either, it gave me an error.
I also tried riva tuner to up the fps to 60 global, did not work.
I have been reading a bit on the net, people complaining that they could not change the settings in nvidia control panel just like me but they installed the latest driver and I'm still on the GTA V driver.

I think the only option is to re-install the driver, or is there some option to modify some global driver file in notepad?

I tried, but somehow there is no profile created!
I gave it the name VRC-Pro and it just does not appear in the list.

I think you're just going to have to clean it and re-install a new driver. Probably could've been back up and running already.

Yeah I guess so...
I'll leave it at 40 fps for now, it's smooth and the GPU stays a bit cooler than running at max.
I will re-install the driver later.

Sorry I couldn't be more help but it sounds like you have something a bit messed up if you're unable to make any changes that'll stick.

Ok, so I wanted to re-install the same driver, clicked on the executable and was seeing this

I did a clean install and all back to normal again
I'm also able to create new profiles in invidia inspector now
