Ouch, metacritic is full of zero scores ... and all this in time when Steam introduced refunds.
Watched some gameplay videos. It's completely unreal seeing a game made in Unreal engine stutter.
Last time I saw UE stutter was with, surprise surprise, Arkham City. They managed to patch that one eventually (once the game was not relevant any more).

I did play a bit last night locked at 30 fps and.. fps issues aside the game does look pretty amazing.

Guess no one read the release notes for the Nvidia 353.30 drivers? Lots of issues (esp with SLI) were mentioned in it. Hate to say it but it's nice to see both teams suffering massive issues. Everybody can join in the misery. :cry:

I was so pumped for this game, but no way I'm going to bite until they fix this crap.

Seems like a LOT of Nvidia endorsed games are very poorly optimized anymore, but if they farmed out the port to a cheap 3rd party team, it's all on Rocksteady as far as I'm concerned.

Noted example is AC:Unity, 5 patches and counting. As for Rocksteady, I think they did outsource the port (saying how they had really small team in interviews) and also there is some new DRM in the mix that may be killing performance even more.

Gameworks is just an easy go to target, fact is the game has a few performance issues which clearly need ironing out and that is without any Gamework features enabled.

I've just started playing and I'm about an hour in now, but the game certainly does look pretty and runs well enough save the annoying stuttering/pausing.

Also... the Batmobile is fucking awesomesauce.

Forgot to ask, does the Cat 15.6 beta help at all, esp for older AMD GPUs like a 7970?

That's better FPS than I would have expected on your rig. Still running a 280X? What driver are you using?

There are settings not available in game other than the FPS cap from what I've read. Have you tried lowering shadow res or anything to try and get textures or FPS up?

I've read some are not just uncapping FPS but also setting it to Dx10, which I know is unacceptable to many now that Dx11 is being used well by a lot of teams, but may be an acceptable temp workaround for some. I'm seeing reports of 30-60 FPS with Med settings on a 750 Ti with Dx10.

reporting in to say that on my rig i play game without any major stuttering(didn't change fps lock)...on max setting 1920x1080 even with all nvidia settings on

i'm runnin this game from ssd and maybe u should use ccleaner&tuneup utilities reg cleaner, maybe u won't have so much stuttering
coz i've read on a few forums that players with stronger gpus like 980ti have batmobile stuttering and i thx to God don't have
i did also install newest geforce batmen drivers
my opinion is that the game is pretty good and when the new patches roll in it will be even better

however i can't activate riva tuner osd in this game no matter what...

No issues here using Afterburner and using RivaTuner to display the OSD stats.

After the initial performance pains early on the game does seem to run better now for some reason, getting into more now.

Confirmation that Rocksteady are aware of the problems on PC, and that it was ported by an "external PC development partner".

They claim they take this very seriously, but I have a hard time buying that when they farm out the PC port to an external team, and then don't even play test it adequately.

You'd think they'd test their products before release. I don't remember City or Asylum having this many bugs and performance issues. I really don't get it either as the xbone version is presumably direct x and x86.

ok i found out why no osd, we have to disable nvidia graphic tech stuff and then it works but i don't want to disable any graphic option...
guess we have to wait if an updated version of rtss gets out....
