Rapoo, one of the world's leading manufacturers of peripherals in the wireless segment and the first manufacturer of products featuring 5 GHz wireless technology, holds an impressive 42 % market share in China and is continually expanding its product portfolio. This expansion continues with Rapoo's invitation to this year's IFA in Berlin where it will be showcasing its latest VPRO Gaming lineup in Hall 3.2, Booth 212. As part of its IFA announcement, Rapoo is releasing initial product information on the V800S RGB Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and the V910 MMO Laser Gaming Mouse.

VPRO Gaming is expanding its keyboard lineup with the mechanical V800S which boasts full RGB backlighting. Visitors and media representatives will have the very first chance at IFA to try out the new pre-release model of the V800S. With the V800S VPRO has opted for its own, newly developed switches which offer a lifespan of up to 60 million keystrokes. The backlighting has also been upgraded: The V800S has individual key backlighting with up to 16.8 million colors to choose from. The driver also offers six different lighting modes.

Every single one of the V800S' keys are individually programmable, including with self-recorded and precisely-timed macros. The five dedicated macro keys on the left-hand side of the V800S provide lightning-fast access to saved macros. The brand-new integrated V-Power3 Gaming Chip with 70 MHz 32-bit ARM M3 Core processor ensures commands are processed as quickly as they are entered. On top of that, the onboard memory stores five fully customizable game profiles for on-the-fly call-up of the perfect configuration. Further information on the materials and lots more besides is to follow in the detailed press release for the start of IFA.

V910 MMO Laser Gaming Mouse
The new MMO laser gaming mouse goes by the name of the V910. Besides its ultra-stylish, ergonomic design, it has 11 programmable buttons plus a 2D scroll wheel. The immense number of mouse buttons is really sought after, especially for MMO games where a multitude of different functions and macros are required. Precision down to the very last pixel is delivered by the new fully-customizable 8200 DPI laser sensor with 32-bit V-Power3 gaming chip. It boasts a dedicated DPI Fast Switch for rapid toggling of the DPI setting. This lets gamers switch quickly between four configurable DPI presets depending on whether a high or low mouse speed is required. What's more, the V910 is equipped with virtually indestructible Omron© components which offer an ultra-precise click response even after a thousand-and-one headshots.

A new feature is the Pick-Up Flight Control Unit. This lets gamers customize the lift-off distance from 1 mm to 5 mm to suit their particular gaming style, putting an end to unwanted pick-up flight which can quickly get annoying in hectic MMO parties. Thanks to the LED multi-color light system with up to 16 million colors, the mouse can be personalized to suit any need and taste - and with the brand-new APM Mode, a high action-per-minute rate is rewarded with a spectacular light show. The V910 is rounded off by its onboard memory which stores five fully customizable game profiles, each with three sub-profiles, ready for action. Profiles can be switched between really easily at lightning-fast speed at the press of a single button. And last but not least, the small status LED on the top of the mouse indicates which profile is being used.

Rapoo will announce pricing and availability on the 4th of September, 2015.

Thing is it might be a better performer than the Logitech mouse, and tbh who cares if one looks like another brand main question is, did they do a better job.

The mouse does a little bit more than simply remind me of my G602; in fact, I think Rapoo took most of their "inspiration" from the wonderful little G602 sans wireless.

It's hard to beat Logitech peripherals, so Rapoo has a lot to prove.

It looks even less like a G602, dam should be grateful that another company is making a mouse like a popular mouse and not some cheesy crap with a disign thats fails to begin with.

nope still a G602 ... the 502 has "only" 3 side button and 2 index add, while the V910 and G602 have 6 side and 2 index add tho ok ... the shape is G502, nahhh who care ... it's a "what if we took both design of the G502 and 602 and put it on our wired mouse"

well, i tested and liked some compact wireless keyboard from Rapoo, the rest of what they do ... not that much tho ...

hum the V910 has a bigger thumb "wing" than the G502 ... more like a G602 in the end  ;)

anyhow : Roccat Nyth FTW (imho ;) )

Nyth i think i will stick with my Logi G700s for $50 and a longer warranty. And the Nyth is nice i do like that indent in the front left side of it but it has no top but i guess that be a Nyth Pro with a $30 markup on a already expensive mouse lol.

no pro version since it's already a pro mouse .... and it's not really that expensive in comparison of other multibutton mouse, with the amount of innovation put in,

G700s at 50$ ... eh? where i am a G700s is 100chf and a Tyon is 105chf and the Nyth was 115chf (a Razer Naga was 139chf ... and that make a lot for a pile of crap  )

indent? no top? you mean?
also the button after the wheel is the easy shift[+] but i use it as a std button :D and yep i need 12 thumb + 2 way fin + wheel click + the 1 extra conversion (hurghhh ... 16 shortcut on the mouse and i still have 6 other around the WASD key :D )
the fact is i love the Mionix Naos shape and i love even more having a 12 pad under the thumb ... but none of the multibutton mouse i tested had a comfortable shape .... the Nyth is perfect ... for me (even more comfortable than the Tyon )

Well the G700s on Newegg is $64 now and they had them on sale there not to long ago for $50. I got mine for 50$ as they refunded me due to the sale.

I said nothing about a indent on top

And the Pro comment was just a example.

And for me to buy a Nyth it would cost around $120, not trying to dis the mouse but that's one hell of a mouse with a hell of a price tag.

I said nothing about a indent on top.
i do like that indent in the front left side of it but it has no top
i meant what you meant (i said nothing about that you said something about a indent on top :D otherwise i would not have separate them with a "?" ) ... since a indent is a recess part .... oh, you mean the shape around the thumb pad? but why it has no top? and also the indent is on the whole left part, i fail to get the image of what you point

120$ for the Nyth ? well that near the price for me (and totally worth it, imho, 4 set of thumbkeys 2 right side and a carry box? ) altho 64$ for a G700s on Newegg ... that's scandalous when i see the price of that one in Switzerland, well not really ... i find the G700s to be worth that price, the scandal is the Newegg price  ... (between 89chf and 120chf technically )

the only thing i find funny ... they could have cut the price a bit by keeping the Pro Aim R3 8600dpi instead of the Twin tech R1 12000dpi ...
and that's the only point i fear on that one .... it look like the Philips Twin Eye that the Razer Naga and the R.A.T. line use ... the one on my Naga stoped working the one in my R.A.T. fried ...

and to stay on topic (not that i really care tho) Rapoo is sometime totally overpriced for what they are ... most of their product are nice and use metal in the build process but ... cost around 50 to 100% more of the price of a similar product.
and to be honest ... i thought of Rapoo to be a brand like Trust, a lot of sh*ty product some good product and sometime a pearl with a nice price-tag (like the mmo mouse Trust GXT 166 )

I like the indent for finger placement, due to being left handed, i like edges and bumps as it tells you if your hand is in the right place or not.

Not a Phillips fan to be honest.

Yes Newegg does us well here and really well on a lot of stuff and they keep records on every thing you buy for ever too so no digging around for that receipt.

What i did notice about this Rapoo mouse is those top buttons could be problematic how they hang over and curious how they make contact
