Cool...That is nice of them to give out a new shroud that looks significantly better than the original for free!

Not sure why they didn't just start out with this one though...

Got 2 x on reserve. I "think" they may have revised the design to go to a single sku. If you look at the stock photos, is all generic labeling. Easier for them to order in bulk and not end up with surplus.

Yup, with the crazy 980Ti and Titan x reference shenanigans, it's much easier to have a single hybrid kit SKU.

Reserved my two anyways.

Don't forget the 980 as well. EVGA has the same res/pump for all three, but has had to manage the "kit" with three different SKU's since one said 980, another said 980ti, and the last said Titan x. Now it's all one

I think you are trying to be fanboyish and troll and joke about this, but it's actually cool of EVGA to provide this to customers who own the 980, 980ti or titan x to give them something that they did NOT already pay for. We keep the shroud that came originally when we already decided to make the purchase, and we get a new one just because.
