Nice review. My parents got the Deep Silence 3. Tho I am not impressed by the inbuilt fan-controller. The lowest speed is nowhere near 5volt.

However, there are still some things I dont like about Silence 3 (or this 5 for that matter)

If you got any fans with some kind of special frame like BeQuiet Silent Wings 2 or NoiseBlocker Multiframe series (just two examples) then forget about using them in the deep silence. Unless you want to apply extreme force or can find an supersmart well thought workaround.
Because the fan mounting in these deep silence cases, only allows for fans with a default frame, to get installed without any kind of problems.
I also dont get why on earth we still need this many 5.25" bays. Just one would be enough. If they had made this pc-case just a little bit taller, they could have had 3x 140mm intake fans, by sacrificing 3x 5.25" bays. Then you could have the last survivng 5.25 bay for something like the Scythe Kaze Master II fan-controller.

Nice i like the slots up top for easier cable management. Looks similar to my Deep Silence 2 but bigger and slightly more refined.

Well, A bay reservoir for water cooling is nice, if you need to place a 3.5 " drive in a silent computer there is rubber suspenders for 3.5" to 5.25 that fixes most of the noise problems with 3.5 " disks. In general 5.25 bays are handy to have.

And Scythe fan controllers are shit, only one amp per channel.

Not everyone uses water cooling. And when I said scythe, that was just one example. As there are lots of others 5.25" fan-controllers out there. And kaze master 2 I did mention, yes do got 1 amp pr. channel. But does 12w pr. channel. Which is more than enough for alot of people.
An standard 140mm fan, draws like 0.0x amp.
