I bought this game 3 days ago and I already have 15 hours of playtime... I can't stop playing 3v3 ranked matches with my brother and buddy. So addicting............ Help me......... lol. Also can't stop laughing while I play. The game is a great combination of skill and luck. Really don't know why I didn't get it earlier as a Car guy / Soccer player myself. What a great idea for a game, I know they had a beta version of this game on PS3 for a while, I remember my brother playing this same exact game a year or 2 ago, just not nearly as many features, and only on PS3. This game has really come a long way.

I have been playing Rocket League since it launched on PS4 but I know people that have been playing it since the closed beta earlier in the year. I try to play at least 2 unranked and 1 ranked match every night but lately it's been hockey.

developer is going to support the game in 2016

This is the ONLY game I've played longer than 40 hours in the past year. I wish I would have gotten it sooner. Some nights I can hop on with my roomie and play for 3-5 hours straight.

I just can't (mentally) get into solo matches... They get weird. One time it took about 50 seconds before me or the opponent touched the ball. It was just a series of fakes and lols. Doubles can drive me insane if the other guy has no concept of team play.

Solo isn't all about skill, it's basically about waiting for your opponent to fuck up or run out of boost.

That's why I am not a huge fan.

Straight ahead when I've got the ball in my sights and I'm trying to hit it at just the right angle, ball view the other 99% of the time.

You should be using ball cam most of the time. Only times not to is when ball is above your head, you're going for boost, or trying to dribble into the goal (personal preference). You're better off learning how to hit the ball at angles with ball cam on IMO so you can not have to fiddle with it as much.
