SilentiumPC Announces the Regnum RG1 Pure Black Chassis

SilentiumPC announced the Regnum RG1 Pure Black chassis. With the new Regnum RG1 saving money on a case has never been easier. It's the first value-oriented chassis with dual-chamber internal layout which dramatically improves both airflow and cable management. Added advantage is how clean and seamless the complete PC system looks with very little effort.

RG1's incredibly roomy interior allows for very flexible choice of components as its compatible with ATX motherboards, long power supplies, graphics cards up to 380mm and CPU coolers up to 160mm. Also offers two external 5.25" drive bays as well as two 3.5 and two 2.5" internal drive bays for desired HDD/SDD configurations. The chassis comes equipped with a single quiet 120mm fan and all intake holes covered with dust-filters. Should additional airflow is required up to six 120mm fans in total can be installed. Regnum RG1 is also compatible with both single and dual radiator all-in-one watercooling solutions.



In terms of exterior design we opted for classy, timeless looks with minimalistic, brushed front panel with a discreetly placed SilentiumPC logo. All the ports are located at the top of the panel including power and reset buttons, mic and headphone jacks as well as two USB 3.0 ports.

RG1 is a dream come true for value-oriented buyers as it combines the praised features and high-quality at an entry-level price point.

$ 27.50....wow...in EU-27 will probably be 27,50 EUR , which is still insanely impressive. I was having my eye on Zalman ZM-T5 for this kind of cash, but hey I might re-think.

Great price for a nice looking case. I'm with everyone who wonders about quality, but if it's not messed with except for cleaning, it might hold up for a couple of years. I actually could have used it six months ago when I built my NAS.

Actually no. SPC cases are the best bang4buck options available. Check their other cases, TPU did some reviews.

The catch is the availability. It will be hard to get outside of Poland. The base price is in PLN and it was calculated to dollars from this currency. For example two years ago it would cost a few bucks more because dollar was a lot cheaper.
Their cases are actually quite sturdy, you would be surprised. Thanks to the "carvings" on side panels they are solid.
The only competition for this case is the other SPC product, Gladius M20. You can check the reviews online, but it's hard to find in different languages than polish.

Also if the price sounds "too cheap" for you, check the review of their Grandis cooler or Aquarius X90 case(i have it actually), here on TPU.

Also they have quite a few cases that seem to have the same oem as BitFenix, except they are cheaper.

It's a CHEAP, poorly engineered case. You can get a much better case for only a little more money, and it will be so worth it.

It's by no means an ideal case, but holy shit man, it's 27$. It's a budget case, they don't have to be perfect. There is no better case in the ~30-35$ price point anyway. You would have to give at least 10$ to get something better.
