ZOTAC Teases its GeForce GTX 1080 PGF Graphics Card

ZOTAC teased its GeForce GTX 1080 PGF non-reference design graphics card. Built on a custom-design PCB, the card goes big on multi-color LED lighting along not just its top, but also along edges of its acrylic-based back-plate, which looks like a neon strip along its edges. These cards are expected to be factory-overclocked, and ZOTAC appears to be using a 6+8 pin PCIe power connector layout, compared to a single 8-pin on the reference "Founders Edition" card. From the looks of the tantalum multi-phase capacitor sticking out through the back-plate, ZOTAC could be giving this card a strong VRM area.

agreed, me personally, i hate RGB scheme lots of colors changing and sh*t, i like one color for my build illumination and thats it,

In an inverted ATX case like the Corsair 600C you have the problem that you can't really see the backplate, only the edge of it (but depends on position of the card, 1st slot like I said).

I've always had good experience with Zotac cards. I'm not a big fan of LEDs on or in my case - something like this would be a waste for me. Looks intriguing, but not something I'd stick in my tower.
