I must say that Far Harbor is an awesome DLC...
It has it's pluses and minuses
Pros
Great terrain, with lots of woods, mountains, water, and fog.
Nice new creatures to battle
Cons
Creatures and enemies feel too easy to kill
Less encounters with hostiles than in main game
The majority of quests feel like mere fetch scenarios
The poor representation of God rays and wind is more noticeable
By the last one, I mean walking through dense woods makes it even more evident that tree branches are just vibrating, vs realistically blowing in the wind, and even the God rays seem overly blurred and vibrating.
I have to say, it's definitely not as haunting as I'd anticipated. It borders on boring for me. I suppose it doesn't help that I was almost level 70 when I started playing it, but that just brings back another point I made earlier about Fallout 4. As you level, you become too overpowered, which can ruin your DLC experience, unless you restart the game before playing it, and don't wait until finishing the game when embarking on it.
