Calyos announced its flagship Fanless PC workstation. Its star attraction is a unique 2-phase cooling solution that has no moving parts, and instead a closed loop long heat-pipe cooling solution, which consists of a large heatsink that doubles up as the custom Lian Li PC-O7S case's right side-panel. The bore of the heat-pipes are filled with a refrigerant (R-245fa), which flows through the loop thanks to convection.

The cooling solution is so effective that Calyos is offering builds with the Intel Core i7-5820K processor (140W TDP), and the GeForce GTX TITAN X graphics card (250W TDP). Adding to its fanless credentials is a Super Flow Golden Silent PSU. The passive cooling is so effective, that Calyos is claiming better temperatures than even liquid cooling. Calyos is offering this desktop with various other CPU and GPU combinations.

component choice is odd to me.
Intsead of offering 5820K and TITAN X, they should offer 6800K and GTX 1070. That will run beautifully cooler

Well they are not saying they are not offering that combo, its just stated that the cooling is so good a much hotter running setup is still possible.

I think its to advertise its uses as a workstation for computational work, not just gaming applications.

Should be Super Flower

They're just trying to show that the cooler is game for those components.

I have fans and that's my experience. I often look at the case if power light is even on. And then I realize it is. XD Smart fan control is the key.

hehe yeah that'd keep PC and you cool that looks like a beastly fan, and if it was "too" quiet well now you could rectify that with this noise machine:).

Took me a while to find it again (and reset my TPU pass that I forgot :D EDIT: wow... registered 9+ years ago, last post 7 years ago :D, now that's lurking ;) ) but here is the link to (p)review from some french site:

http://www.modding.fr/presentation-le-pc-0db-de-calyos/

Doesn't say THAT much more than now available official info, but is still a fun reading. Stumbled upon it some month or two ago, and was glad someone finally did it. Hope more is coming soon! :)

EDIT:
Under what conditions were these temps recorded?

Says all here: http://www.calyos-tm.com/calyos-fanless-pc-workstation/
Calyos vs Big Shuriken 2, under 23C ambien temperature, with 3D Mark and Prime 95

Which is more than fine, I don't really expect it to beat them all, as long as it works. I mean, this is finally a full-power desktop PC without ANY moving parts! Well, not counting the liquid in the pipes :D No fans, no pumps, no motors, no HDDs, nothing in PSU, just pure electronics and some liquid. And pure physics :)

The ambient temperature is pretty low. Let's see how it stacks up in 35c weather...if it can maintain performance without throttling, they've designed a truly incredible piece of hardware.
