Designed with the new NVIDIA Pascal architecture, the GPU is three times faster than its predecessor, with a performance increase of more than 40 percent. The result of this enhancement is incredible graphics power that allows users to game at max settings effortlessly while enjoying realistic cinematic experiences with technologies like NVIDIA GameWorks.



The performance of the new Razer Blade is packed into the thinnest design available in its class. Measuring just 0.7 inches thin and weighing just over four pounds, the laptop sets a new milestone in terms of power per cubic inch. Built with a unibody CNC aluminum chassis, the Blade's svelte exterior is also incredibly durable.

The Razer Blade is optimized for VR performance with low latency and plug-and-play compatibility. It also supports the capture of 360-degree images to view in VR in games that support NVIDIA Ansel technology. This makes the Razer Blade the most portable virtual reality system available today.

The Razer Blade comes standard with a 6th Gen Intel Core i7 quad core processor, 16 GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory, Killer Wireless-AC and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. The system offers more storage than ever before with up to a 1TB PCIe SSD option and fast data transfer speeds. Other features include an anti-ghosting keyboard that is powered by Razer Chroma. This technology unlocks a virtually endless array of dazzling lighting effects that can be customized or synced to display in-game events.

Two display options are available for gamers to choose from. A Full HD model offers the best frame rates and a matte screen for minimal glare, while a touch-enabled 3200x1800 QHD+ display provides stunning visual clarity.

The 14-inch Blade is one of two announcements in Razer's systems family lineup this week, the other being the new Razer Blade Stealth. The 12.5-inch Razer Blade Stealth was named the "Best PC" at CES earlier this year for its combination of performance, value, expandability and portability.

Would be great if that 1080p version has some 144Hz ips panel and gsync...

...But there's no mention, so I assume it's glossy TN panel with 60Hz, oh and ccfl backlight of course.

Edit. Well 1080p is matte ips with led backlight, still no word of Hz or gsync though...

This statement is confusing as it's referencing two different performance improvements related to the GPU in the same sentence. I somehow doubt that GTX1060 is 3X faster than a 970M from the previous Blade. Would be nice if Razer made a 15-15.6" laptop version as that is more preferable for my usage.

GTX 970M is a little bit weaker than the GTX 960 desktop card. X3 is not too far off, not at all

Afaik, that 3x is failed copy paste from nvidia and what it really means is pascal architecture is up-to 3x faster than maxwell, rather than mobile gtx1060 is 3x faster than gtx970m.

Yeah, evga sc17 1070 is quite good looking too. Too bad there is no smaller(and cheaper) versions of it, 17" is not really a laptop...

I agree, the logo ruins it. The gigabyte Aero 14 has similar specs, a non-gamer design. Very promising.

If you live in the US you cant find that model anywhere. I tried, this was going to be my next business laptop because of the huge battery but I cant find it anywhere. But too late since the newer graphics cards are out now. There is some pictures out in the wild with Aero with a 1060 but nothing yet from gigabyte on that model.

It is confusing, how 300% faster equals only 40% performance increase.
As for "gaming" that seems to be a tag they stick on any laptop with a discreet GPU and some bling.
Personally I would want it larger and faster with adequate cooling, I don't care about thin.

There are plenty of bulky gaming laptops around, and most of them look pretty embarassing outside the gaming context. It's nice to have options.

Not that I'd ever get a laptop (or anything short of a car) for that kind of money, but still. Were I in the market for a high end system this would be a contender. I don't want to explain to people why my computer looks like a folded up transformer.
