OFFICIAL Star Citizen

Because the Nerfing had the effect of many who just bought what was sold to them as an Interceptor to be dissatisfied with their purchase causing quite a few to upgrade to a different ship.
That is the classic definition of the Bait and Switch tactic which has been employed throughout history.

It's not a nerf if the game isn't balanced - the ability of the ship is defined by it's comparison to other ships, so since no significant balance effort has been made for a long time to ensure that all ships perform as intended when compared to each other you can't say that it won't be an interceptor at release. As you've said you don't expect the game to be balanced how can you claim that the avenger is a bait and switch - those two statements are contradictory.

I feel you're trolling at this point as you are only replying to points where you feel you have something you can prove yourself right with - accusations of legal action, suggestions that the game will be released in a cut-down form from what was promised, a "bad" TOS which is among the best out there for refunds - you're ignoring comments on your accusations and trying to direct conversation to things which you have any proof for, which is a ship needing a balance pass (like most the other ships).

BTW A ship that has most intrigued me is the Cutlass Red.
However, until I see an advanced medical model, I will not purchase this vessel.

That's fine and no-one would say it's a bad idea to wait and see if you're cynical about a ship meeting expectations.

If that was an attempt at balance then why have the most OP ships in the Game, Super Hornet and Sabre been allowed to continue to be dominant?
Want proof? Just look at the Arena Leaderboards.

Just because I post about various points you are not in agreement with, that makes me a troll?

I have not said the game is balanced - in fact it is not (I have said this 3 times already). The best single seat combat fighters are dominating the game when the main interaction is space superiority fighting - this is not surprising, nor should it be. They continue to be dominant as they are the aspirational ships people should work towards in-game if they want to fly fighters. I don't know what point you are trying to make with this - you said the Avenger was nerfed, I've pointed out that it's not nerfed the game is just not balanced yet. You're agreeing with this point now?

You're not a troll for posting things I disagree with. You're a troll for posting comments that are 100% not true, and ignore the fact that they're lies when called out on it. You're also arguing contradictory statements to try and continue showing annoyance with the game, which is making no sense.

When a ship is advertised as an Interceptor Bounty Hunter and sold widely as an upgrade or standalone ship to existing backers, then CIG goes in and changes the speed and gun characteristics with the effect of lowering the performance; this is a Nerf. You can call that and other statements I've made "lies", but anyone who is reasonable can see that this is true, including many on the RSI Avenger Owners sub-forum where many backers were outraged by what was done to our ships.
Your behavior on this thread resembles that of the suspected PR agency sockpuppet avatars, whose job it is to try to shutdown dissent on the RSI Forums.

I've been having too many issues at Grim Hex.
Ammo in my weapons suddenly go to zero.
Cannot get a sight picture on the Bering because the iron sights look like they are disconnected from the barrel.
Cannot draw secondary weapon.
All of which make PvP very dicey because you never know when these bugs occur until you are vulnerable in the airlocks.

Just used the Star Citizen app to enable 2-factor for my account. Simple, easy to do, took less than 1 1/2 minutes, from start of download, to authenticating my work PC. Why doesn't every game have this function? :)

Listing issues here isn't going to help. Most of these issues are already known. Post here: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/community/issue-council

I am a little annoyed with the 2 factor authentication. It asks for a code every time I log in, even though it says it will remember.

I find that to be a good problem... the whole point of being more secure doesn't mean it is still easier to login. ;)

It should demand a new code at each login...that makes sense to me security-wise. If it didn't and that was cached too...then the two-factor wouldn't really be any more of a safety net in your account security, it'd be no different than having your password cached...if its cached its saved somewhere. 2FA codes should never be cached...it should allow you access to the current session, and then when you close...session over. I'll have to check it out when I get home.

I need to reconfigure the controls as I really dislike the control scheme from what I recall using for Mouse + KB with SC earlier this year. That or I just have adjusted too much to Elite Dangerous and totally forgot (likely as well!).

That's the point of two-factor authentication, it makes it much more difficult for somebody other than yourself to access your account.

I can see this game using RSA fobs for authentication by the time launch rolls around

I believe if you go in the settings on your account on the site, you can tell it to recognize that specified device for a period of time.

That is exactly what does not work.

I understand that but they say they will recognize that specific device for a period of time. That functionality is not-existant.

Odd. It works as advertised for me. Submit a bug report for it at their site.

Does this game have a good story line, something to follow eagerly, or is just another X2, Freelancer type of clone?

Story isn't released yet, it will come in the form of Squadron 42 for the single player story line experience...I would imagine a mix of Wing Commander and Battlefield with high quality cutscenes (possibly rendered in-game) and voice overs...and whatever lore carries over from that to the public universe...at least that's what I've gathered from what I've followed.

That has been delayed until next year...It is what I really bought SC for and when they recently announced it was being pushed to 2017 I was pretty disappointed...

When did they announce that?

I'm happy to see some of the current development. I've been very apprehensive about weather or not the team had taken on more than they could accomplish. They have done some very solid work though. Have to say, the transition from space to land is very nice, some of the best, if not best I've seen.. I'm still waiting for the big 3.0 before I check it out.. Want to make sure the controls don't change.. Again..lol

When did they announce that?

Well when looking up a source it turns out it was basically a bad translation of a German interview and last week it was clarified it was not in fact delayed. So I am back to happy I guess but I still don't expect it until right to end of the year anyway.

The prices for this game are ridiculously callous. I mean 275$ just for a ship???????????/

Not really how it works. Heck some of the ships don't even come with the game! They're there for folks that want to give money towards development basically. On the main site, you click the "fly now" right in the middle of the screen, grab a starter package and Squadron 42 (the single player portion) and that's it. $60 bucks.

Nothing is exclusive in game. Everything can be earned and there will be plenty of stuff to do regardless of the size of your ship.

Everything can be earned

That is what CR says, however he also says that content will be added after release through expansion patches which means further development post release sans backer income.
With the incredible revenues gained through ship sales, I would not be at surprised if this continued indefinitely. The rationale being that in order to get every feature ever discussed by CR in videos the Devs need income above game sales.
In return, these new pledges will get exclusive early access to these new ships before the patches are implemented, with LTI and other perqs.

Well.. everything the people making the game have said is contrary to what you think.

The game might be complete in half a dozen years, but for that price you could have bought half a dozen years worth of quality, completed games.
