Striking a dangerous aesthetic emphasizing its feline signature, Cougar's upcoming gaming mouse aims to be a predator on the battlefield. Dubbed the Revenger. Cougar is set to unchain the newest member of their big cat family - preying on other mice - proving that theatricality and attraction means nothing without performance and functionality. Equipped with a state-of-the-art 3360 PMW sensor, the 12,000 DPI precision rating is set to deliver unrivalled accuracy and maximum consistency. Whether your scrolling through a multi-screen setup or making razer sharp movements on a 4K display, the level of consistency the Revenger offers proves evident in both day-to-day computing and long hours of gaming.

Designed to dominate both on the screen and off the screen, the level of refinement within the Revenger's sensor means gamers will no longer be limited to the confines of a mouse mat. Whether it's wood, steel, plastic or fabric the advanced tracking capability that the Revenger has to offer can only be enhanced by the use of Cougar's own mouse pads.

Following the trend of RGB backlights, the 2-zone illumination functionality that the Revenger brings to the table allows gamers to mix and match their lighting scheme for whichever game they wish to configure. Boasting 16.8 million colours! whether it's a subtle glow or a vengeful burn, independent lighting for both the underside of the mouse as well as Cougar's threatening logo means gamers will always be aware of the currently set profile.

Continuing to enhance the experience that's provided through the Cougar UIX, the 512KB of on-board memory allows gamers to store upto 3 unique profiles --giving way to gaming-on-the-go, taking their skills on the road. Combined with programmable buttons with direct access to macros and shortcuts, along with 21 different functions - Cougar's Revenger proves to be ideal for a variety of game genres.

Displaying its beauty while beasting the competition, the initiative that Cougar has taken in delivering a product with both traits in tandem -- without any compromises - clearly stands correct with its maleficent exterior. Featuring a gaming-grade scroll wheel with tactile feedback, an anti-slip surface for consistent grip, and an ergonomical trigger instructed by the gamer's command - Cougar's attempt in redefining exactly what it means to be the ultimate gaming mouse is covered in every minute aspect by the Revenger's design traits.

Thriving in performance yet easy to tame, the 1000Hz polling rate combined with a 1ms response rate is further enhanced by its sturdy construction of its OMRON switches - Rated at 5 million clicks to stalk out its prey.

This sensor has jitter at its highest DPI settings.

Not a perfect sensor, not a bad one.

with that price it seems quite reasonable for the performance it promises.

LOL

have you tried that sensor on another mouse? even with that drawback though it looks decent enough.

It's being used in the Corsair M65 RGB mouse and a number of others.

This sensor has jitter at its highest DPI settings.
I know zero people using their mice at DPI settings above 3200. And up to this sensitivity level this sensor is basically identical to 3366, which is the best optical sensor yet.
