When you hear the name G,Skill, you probably start thinking of RAM. However, they are now looking to add peripherals to their line up. They are starting with their G.Skill Ripjaws KM780 mechanical keyboard. It ticks all the boxes on paper and will hopefully impress in its review!

Love the case for key caps and audio ports. Rare stuff.

imo the design is very OTT and garish, Kinda reminds me of the saitek cyborg keyboards.

Tell me about it, this keyboard has been floating around the postage office for quite some time! Glad it is sorted now though, no doubt G.Skill will have planned their next one by now!

Haha, yeah, now you mention it it does look like them, at least this is solid though and uses better materials! The Cyborg sold very well iirc, not something I was impressed with particuarly though. That is the hardest part about peripheral reviews, they are so subjective, I have friends who I have given excellent keyboards to and they went back to their very cheap, plastic, 10 dollar keyboards!

Yeah, i think this is a love it or hate it keyboard tbh. I really got on with this one and although the software is somewhat lacking, you can program the keys to do pretty much anything you want. I think for the majority of people, this board will do everything (and more) than you would need.

If I had this keyboard I would use that crazy keycaps box for things like pendrives, SD cards, ... other people (mailmans?) for their hormone pills etc
