If they (or any other company) make an upgradable laptop with an AMD CPU or APU one day, I'll be more than glad to buy it.

About the 4K resolution... I'd rather have a full HD screen, too.

I thought something along those lines, like, wt* is a laptop doing literally in the wild like that? xD

That tree is where this laptop will end up after you toss it out because it throttles like no tomorrow.

I don't believe AMD ever had a significant foothold in the laptop market. Even in their heyday, Intel walked all over them with Pentium-M (the same Pentium-M that went on to become the Core line, but that's another story).
Incidentally, this is an additional aspect Zen will have to tackle and tech sites (and fanboys) never talk about: it will have to scale, the same way Skylake and Kaby Lake do.

I still remember their A10 5750M that was limited to 35W. Yeaaah, no kidding, dude. You're going to limit yourself to 35W CPUs while your competitors happily goes up to 55W (most high end CPUs had a 45W TDP though, but that's still much higher in terms of percentage).

Anyhow, I can wait. I'm still happy with my Sandy Bridge laptop (if you're wondering why I got an Intel CPU... it was a gift).

What a stupid comment, my laptop doesnt throttle. In fact it keeps its full 3.7 speed. I had a 6700k in it for a few days at a full 4.4 with a .55v undervolt. Temps where in the low 80C's. I keep the 6700 at .160 undervolt at temps at 65C with a bad pasting job.
