which one comes with thermal stuff on and where in the uk can i get one?

I would just get a tube of thermal paste along with your purchase. Something like Arctic Silver. It will be better than whatever comes on the heatsink from the factory, and a tube lasts forever, so you can use it on many projects in the future.

BE CAREFUL! with arctic silver 5 as a NB thermal paste for a chipset. if you put too much on, you can easily short and fry your mobo, and potentially your GFX, cpu ram, ect.

i think there was an artical a bit back about how put a custom heatsink/paste on a NB. let me see if i can find it... (il edit this post when/if i do)

EDIT: i cant find the artical. if you search around, you may be able to find it.

Agree, just gotta use the right ammount, Heck I've even used that Dynex crap and gotten better results than the stock factory stuff.

i dont mind but i want somesort of cooling on it and i would the cooler to have pre-applyed thermal stuff on it

Pre-applied grease is never good. They don't care about using better stuff. In fact, we call it goop.

I would assume because he is either worried about putting it on himself (as describe from ambix about shorting out the MB) or that he thinks it has to have it on there.

Personally, Id get that TT (which looks bad ass btw, all copper ::drool: maybe find a bit better fan if possible for it, put on some Arctic Silver Ceramique and call it a day.

Nah, not if you use Arctic Silver Ceramique or Arctic Cooling MX-1. They're both 100% non-conductive. I use AS Cer on my mobo.

Besides, there's enough of us here experienced enough to walk you thru it as well. Just get the cooler you like, one of the above mentioned goops, and we'll happily walk you thru it.

ok thx mate do u know if they do ones that i can screw onto my mobo? id go for that copper one but it think it will stick out too far

that TT should work out fine for your bob. It wont stick out that far and should offer great cooling.

@Wile E I forgot about the MX-1. Id recommend that for the NB and Ceramique for the GPUs if you ever get a cooler for it
