In the wake of many years of getting comfortable with 80 plus efficiency ratings of PC power supplies, in the past year a new company has emerged with the aim to take the testing of power supplies to the next level. Cybenetics has devised a revolutionary testing system where power supplies are examined under even more stringent circumstances than previously. This rating system renders all power supplies easily comparable and it also has added a crucial element to the process - the testing of the sound output of the power supplies.

Seasonic was glad to jump on board to assess the performance of their PRIME units to see how they fare against the new Cybenetics test parameters. Seasonic was even happier to receive back the first test results of its flagship units, which without exception have demonstrated that they have passed the highest level of certifications with flying colors.

For more information about the testing methods and test results please visit the Cybenetics website.

I like the idea of the company going beyond to show how good the power supplies are. Which they are amazing and I mostly buy psus from them. The down side of this will give the company another reason to drive up prices, they have great products but please don't drive up the prices.

It's funny how European union uses power efficiency labels for pretty much all electronic devices, but they still don't use them for computer power supply units even though they are in pretty much every single home powering millions of computers.

That's because pretty much all branded ones will get an A

You get what you pay for. Everyone else drives down prices and companies make shittier and shittier things. Look at how well Walmart does because people like cheap shitty stuff. I don't want cheap crap.

That's just CRAZY ! I have spent over 40 years buying items at Wal-Mart and nope it's not all junk ! I raised my family of 5 with wal-mrt hum cant say there's been any real issues and when there was they stood behind it !
FFS this bone headed line that they are crap drives me fukig bonkers. Besides Almost everyone in this town of 50k buy there, never hear that they got junk, hell they'd be out of business by now
IT's the SAME that you can get at Newegg, or Goodyear, or Samsonite, or the local farmers market. Sure there are times something don't work, had that happen any where........:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
