OFFICIAL GTA V (Discussion)

Yeah but the mini racers looks awesome!

Ok....So I got my first GTA V crash.....

Started up the game, story mode, activate options in Blade's trainer, activating vehicle cannon and activate menyoo, used menyoo customs to pimp up my car, change the top speed to "25" in menyoo, also added mass to my car. Start driving, carshing into few cars and the game crashed!? No message, nothing but social club started after that and there was an option of safe mode or to start the game normal again.

Started up the game again and this time performed the same actions only top speed set to 20..
Started driving away slowly and started bumping cars and all went ok for 30 minutes...

The CPU and GPU only clock up when there's a lot going on, was it just that a lot of things going on in too short of period and the GPU/CPU couldn't handle it that quickly? Or?

This was in the event viewer:

No. just loaded it and the game was there.

Me neither. We should play some together

i am embarrassingly bad, seriously, you would just laugh.

That means you have the old rockstar social club executable.I as well have the same. For what it's worth, you could activate it through steam , under "activate a non-steam game" option.personally I don't really play video games but when I do I like to play dos x's

@jboydgolfer

i am sure when i did that before it just linked to the shortcut on my desktop.

i see youtube video, many gamers mod character in game. How do you do ?

just linked to the shortcut on my desktop.

That's weird, if I recall correctly it just handles the launching but it never created a shortcut on the desktop or anything for me .there's really no point in it anyway, i just figured I'd mention it is all

Well point is people in steam see what you do and you can use steam overlay ingame to chat. That's it

Good lord above! at least fight back bruh!

Ever since i came over to windows 10 GTA has been running like spit on a window in certain areas on the map and if i'm using the hydra to dive bomb players FPS goes to S@#T and i average 90fps to 120fps.

Has anyone had similar issues and if so how did you deal with it, I really need a fix because PVP has become a pain in nethers because of the stuttering.

LMFAO! Typical GTA Online player, That's why i don't trust no one... EVER!

Seriously? Your missing out! the only issues with online is modders and few bugs but otherwise from that it's fun and you have content galore. try it you can join my crew i will set you up with cash and show you the ropes.

Same here, only modders spoil it for me at times.

Ive played online a bit recently with a friend of mine in GTA, they should rename it to something like Loading Screen Auto 5, or Rob Your Time Auto 5. Seriously if I play online for 2 hours, Ill spend 45 minutes to an hour loading into games/ looking for matches alone. Then once the loading screens finish, the modders come out of no where and make you find another server. Seriously online has only ever made me bang my head against the wall.

Modded single player is where its at, and its silly Rockstar did not embrace moding like Skyrim or something of the sort.

Just got an email from rock*

It really sucks if this means yet another quick update....:banghead:
My mods won't work again....:banghead:

That would mean another 5 days waiting for the scripthookV update after the update...:banghead:

You can still play on the old update while you wait for Scripthook V to update. Go into your steam settings and disable Auto updates, make it update when you launch the game. The key here is you need to know when the game has been updated so you can turn your connection off. When you know GTA 5 has been updated, make sure your logged into steam. Then disable your connection, then it will give you an option to run the game in offline mode and not update the game. As long as you follow this method each time you launch, you can wait to update til Scripthook is updated.

I'm not sure if it'll work after a PC restart and then for 5 days or so offline?...
How about social club?

It should be as simple as having the steam window open, disabling your internet, and launching the game. Social club should pop up with an option for offline mode. Im not sure if you can get to that menu if you weren't already logged into steam without an internet connection to begin with, I would assume it should work though.

have it set to update when launched now.
Yeah, connected to internet when startup PC, startup steam, maybe steam app update, all good, then just start steam in offline mode.
I don't think it's even needed to disable the internet connection then, just using steam offline mode each day when playing GTA V, about 5 days or so until scripthook is updated.

yeah should work!:)
