Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd launches the PC-O12, a compact mid-tower chassis that combines sleek tempered glass panels with strong, but lightweight, steel and aluminum. This new addition to Lian Li's latest generation O-series chassis range offers unsurpassed style, plus slim design with ample space for a powerful but compact PC build. Thanks to its unique design, it offers space for two vertically placed graphics cards in a separate compartment for gorgeous PC builds.

Tempered glass adds a touch of class
The PC-O12's flawless tempered glass front and side panels make it a sleek and sophisticated showcase for the latest cutting edge computing technologies. Tempered glass is tough, safe and very durable, providing a 'fresh from the showroom' appearance indefinitely. The PC-O12's alluring black aluminum outer body and panels complete the picture. Internally, a rigid steel frame provides a firm foundation for state of the art features.

Ideal balance of chassis size and features
Despite it's space-saving format, this mid-tower enclosure offers plenty of room for the most powerful hardware. The 440mm full bandwidth PCI Express 16x riser cable allows flexible vertical graphics card mounting to enhance cooling and to show off the latest graphics technology through the tempered glass side panel. The roomy case interior fits graphics cards up to 340mm long and CPU coolers up to 75mm high.

There's internal space for up to eight hard disk and SSD drives for terabytes of fast storage capacity. In addition, the newest ultra speedy, powerful external USB 3.1 type C devices are supported, and there are a total of four external USB connectors as standard.

A case with great low-noise cooling performance
With up to five large-format fans, this chassis ensures valuable PC components keep running cool, prolonging life, enhancing performance and reducing noise. There's space for three 120mm fans at the top of the case, plus two 140mm or 120mm fans at the front. With so many airflow options, users are able to reduce fan speed and reduce noise.

In addition, removable mesh dust filters cover the primary fan mounts. The drive cages and PSU mount include rubber vibration dampeners to minimize noise.

Key features of the PC-O12 WX
  • Tempered glass, aluminum and steel design
  • Width: 203mm; Height: 508mm; Depth: 550mm
  • Suitable for E-ATX, ATX, MicroATX motherboards
  • ATX PSU compatibility, up to 230mm length
  • 4 expansion slots for graphics cards; up to 340mm graphics card length
  • 1x 440mm PCI-E 16X Riser cable
  • Fits CPU coolers up to 75mm high
  • 3.5" HDD x4 and 2.5" SSD x4; eight total drives
  • USB 3.1 type C x1, USB 3.0 x3, HD Audio
  • Space for up to five 120mm and 140mm fans

Price and Availability
The PC-O12 is now available at Newegg for $399.99

Interesting layout though, I kinda like it.

That PCI-e riser eats away atleast a quarter of the price (If it's good quality).

But it's still Lian-Li after all.

lian-li or not it is pile of shit.
have a good look on the pictures and try to imagine how it will look like when it is filled up with components (small hint mobo is upside down)
where you will fix your addon audio/raid/usb card or pci-e ssd
try to find 75mm high air cpu cooler.

The layout isn't bad. The case looks space inefficient with the top blocks.

You are taking the Intel 750 in to account? The only single PCI-e HHHL SSD that exist for costumers?
Internal soundcards are 9/10 absolute junk so im glad there is no room for that.
USB card?
RAID-card in a case like this (with just 4 drives)?

75mm-coolers are super easy to find. Why is that an issue?

I'm buying that you don't think it looks good or the layout is weird for you but those arguments does not hold up for general use.
I mean, Lian-Li never did standard cases, which is a good thing.

Why the hate? That looks pretty cool. Its more meant for very custom builds not for your average joe.

They built it upside down with the motherboard on the wrong side.

Water-cool everything with a 280mm rad in the front, 360 mm in the top, pump and res next to the graphics card(s)/PCIe SSD to help balance the empty space, should look pretty good as a custom build.

This is so ugly, even for Lian Li... and that has to tell you something.

Also, lazy marketing department. At least put some parts into it and demonstrate it with some LEDs and lighting or something. How can charge 400$ for something as unappealing as this? This is even beyond lazy, Lian Li. How much effort did you put into this case? You shall be called Lazy Lian Li from now on (or LLL for short).

layout isnt weird. it is bad and unpractical.
you cant use pcie slots for anything else then graphics cause you have 75mm clearance from mobo to side panel and your pcie slots are covered by riser cables you are bound to use for gpus. you cant use air coolers cause you cant cool cpu that can support 2x gpus that worth to show off with c type cooler so you have to go with aio. you are bound to use 2x gpus cause if you use only one you either will have cpu cooler's back plate or riser cable visible which you cant disagree will look cool. yes?

so to summarize you've just offloaded 1k+ for 2 high end gpus and 400 more for case to "show them off" and it turns out you cant use any of your existing hardware (pci/pci-e cards of any kind if you dont like those i've suggested before) so you have to spend 200 to 1k+ more, depending from your current parts, in order to make the case to work :wtf:

you may call this "non standard case" i call it 400$ worthy pile of shit. not matter if it is labeled lian li or not.
they may have other good stuff but this one definitely isnt.

Lian Li needs to have a main product that they don't just discontinue after a year, instead they should keep updating it to keep up with newer standards. That main product should be a simple, elegant, case that is affordable, preferably sub 100 USD price.

I have some SFF Lian Li cases in my storage. They are good but they are all discontinued and no one can buy it for reasonable prices.

Their problem is that they are trying too hard and, therefore, theirs become too expensive crap.

You just proved my point. Why buy sub-par, espensive non-enterprise PCI-e SSD when you can have way better performing M.2 drives? (I own two 750s as an FYI)

Ryzen is easily cooled with lower profile coolers. Again 75mm is quite decent.

You have some serious lack of perspective. If you need all that go buy a Define R5 and be done with it, this case isn't for you.

try to find 75mm high air cpu cooler.

It's not for that kind of build. Nevermind the fact that an M.2 rivals PCI-E SSD anyway. Lian Li cases are not for sensible people (and I'm speaking as an owner of several). They are for nuts out crazy watercooled builds. The logic of buying this case for a sensible air cooled system is just non-existent... there are FAR better cases for that purpose. Many of the glass cases that Lian Li have put out in the last few years are for showcase builds, pure style over substance. Whenever I see someone putting a regular system in one, or even an AIO, I just cringe... it looks dreadful and makes no sense either stylistically, financially or even from a performance stand point.

Now you may call it a piece of shit, but some of the builds done in Lian Li cases by system builders who know their stuff, look as good as any PC will ever look, truly first class. But the case does not maketh the build... that's down to the person building it. Sadly, I do see far more train wreck builds in Lian Li cases than most because they DEMAND skill. Most people fall in to the trap of seeing a sexy case and think their build will automatically look great in it... that is most certainly not the reality.

You never heard or saw inverted layouts then.
You've never seen sarcasm then?
I know they make inverted layouts, I just don't see the point.
To me they are useless for my situation.

You don't know nothing, this case is cooler than 90% of cases on market.
I don't like motherboard upside down, but case like case is very cool.
OK it's little closer to full tower not mid, but for multi GPU.

Better stay with Thermaltake and Phanteks, not comment other cases.
Lian-Li and Caselabs and maybe In Win are at the moment only manufacturers of PC cases I would choose.
When I say In Win I think on S-Frame, 305 is cool.
