will not buy just because "gaming" I really don't understand the whole "gaming" marketing... it is annoying but it seems to work or they wouldn't keep doing it

Just order directly from EK and request they put a cover on the gaming word on the packaging? That's a weird reason to not buy the product inside :D

It's be because of the annoyance. I totally get it but wouldn't let it stop me from buying something that is great. Not saying this cooling kit is great though.

Many people said and thought the same with Curved HDTV. Samsung kept yelling it was the next best thing, great sales numbers, yadayada, it felt super counter intuitive.

Today, you're the idiot if you have one in the living room. I feel the gaming marketing has the same life expentancy. People don't give a shit about 'gaming', the majority of the target market in fact, unless you're over 20 y.o. and still wear shoes with flashy lights in them. The 14-17 year olds generally don't have the cash nor the knowledge to buy or use cooling solutions in this price range. The only reason everything is called 'gaming' is because of bad marketing departments tbh, they saw PC market sales numbers and PC gaming as the only growth segment, so then it had to be effective.

Its the same mistake as selling a phone with your carriers' logo plastered all over it - those models never sell, and when they do, its on major discount. Less is more, for most people, perhaps not in Asia though.

@VSG masterfully written review, love your attention for detail. Keep up the good work!

I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes" but can anyone definitively answer whether the pump+res unit would work just fine installed horizontally?
Thanks ;)

All this money and work to assemble a custom water cooling kit and then what? Doesn't perform better than an AIR-cooler. And the packaging, as if it came from the 90s. Haven't they seen Noctua packaging.

I would die for this kit.
I hope once I will be able to build my first watercooling PC, always need some hardware and all money go in that direction.

Yeah...definitely not worth the money it costs.

This kit isn't very good in terms of performance to put it nicely...not to mention the cost and then the time and effort to install it. Its mediocre at best.

I read it's from aluminum and can't be used as radiators as Coolstream PE example.
Previous kits are better, but cost more.
