Gaming never uses anywhere close to 16 GiB. Those cards are intended for compute and render workloads.I though that Vega is going to be released in 8 and 16GB mem options. But since there's a different comments now I'm not sure about it.
Polaris would be better in laptops than Vega at this point. Even if they made a smaller version of Vega, they wouldn't call it Vega.I'm still waiting for mobile Vega, nvidia can keep its desktop equipped overpriced notebooks to itself, oh, and upcoming mobile rebranded as "qmax" ones with even more ridiculous pricing too.
