MSI Announces the OPTIX Line of Gaming Monitors

MSI unveiled some of its first gaming monitors, under the MSI OPTIX brand. These include two models, the 27-inch OPTIX G27C, and the 24-inch OPTIX G24C. Both models feature Samsung-made TN-film display panels with 1800R curvature, Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 144 Hz refresh-rate, 4 ms (GTG) response time, 178°/178° viewing-angles, and support for AMD FreeSync technology. Display inputs on both include DisplayPort 1.2a, HDMI 1.4a, and DVI. The 24-incher features a simpler design with a stand that allows basic height adjustment, while the 27-incher allows tilt adjustments. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Do you use a custom CMS or something popular?
I suppose comments are usually stored in a database, so isn't there a way to restore them?

self coded, with the forum as backend. usually posts are soft-deleted, not in this case

Besides the refresh rate, these include all the things I'd avoid in a monitor.

Maybe I am mistaken, but aren't most TN "gaming monitors" in the 1 ms response time range? It is usually the IPS panels that are 4 ms.

I've stopped buying monitors/TVs based on paper specs only a long time ago.

27 inch is a little too big for 1920x1080... I find ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q's 24 inch panel much more suitable for 1080p. just my 2 cents.

Actually, if you'd check the specs of these two at MSI's website, you'll find out these use SVA panels by Samsung, not the TN panels.
