Yes, yes, we know. Vega will be the greatest thing since sliced bread. It's just that the world is just too stupid to see it.
Nope. Not saying that at all. Its the fanbois that read about 25% of the facts and say, "duh, who dis card target market? gamorz? lets pretend it is!!"

Where does the "25% of the facts" come from? You think consumer Vega will be 75% different than this?
What people are looking at is Vega architecture delivering GTX1080 level of performance and using more power to do it. A year later. You honestly believe consumer Vega will turn things on their head just by being tuned differently? I mean, I'd love it it happened, but so far everything we know about it shows otherwise.

What people are looking at amounts to nothing more than a beta version of a consumer end product. The results here may be reflective of the potential end product, but in no means is it fact, not until the new card is actually released. At best, its still only speculation of what could be. My problem is all the [trolls] saying what a fail the vega FE card is for gaming.

What I believe about consumer vega is irrelevant. The only thing I can do is hope it lives up to the hype, and thats not saying much given AMDs history.

Again, how much different do you expect RX Vega will be? Because people aren't complaining about Vega FE in gaming, they're complaining about the Vega architecture in gaming. Tweaked as it may be from FE, it will not fall far from the tree. Unless AMD decides to chop it up into smaller chips and only compete with GTX1060. But that won't happen since they've just rebranded RX480 to do it.

Also, here's somebody not having a problem extrapolating facts about Zen when Zen was shown in a good light: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/...00k-with-lower-tdp.228684/page-5#post-3570261

1. RX Vega comes out 15 months after the card it is competing with - a fact.
2. RX Vega will have double the power draw of a GTX 1080 - could be considered a fact because i see no way for them to magicly lower the energy consumption but retaining performance and clocks on RX Vega.
3. Performance and price will be at best on par with 1080 - yes this is speculative. Price more so than performance. There is no magical driver that will make RX Vega faster than GTX 1080 on every case. It may eventually get there trough normal optimizations but it will never beat it by much. Water cooled FE almost gets there (at ~450W mind you) but we don't know if there will be a watercooled RX Vega and how much will it cost.

About #2: I think the (optimistic) expectation is for AMD to lower the TDP and clocks, but somehow make up for it through drivers. I'm not holding my breath, but I think this is the #1 argument for those that still believe in Vega.

Just say no to expectations. People have been complaining about every little thing, architecture or not

1. so what. only idiots care about this fact.

2. "will have", for the power draw. get real. try using words like "might have" or similar, not a fact.

3. as I said, not a fact.

need 1 more poor excuse to hit your 25%...

I see no point in arguing with a fanboy who refuses to accept valid numbers from FE testing. Keep living in your dream world where RX vega comes out at half the GTX 1080 price offering the same performance at the same power draw.

I try to take a neutral stance and try not to let my inner fanboy out, but no where did I say that I didnt accept them, I'm not arguing for or against the tests or the results. I take anything like this with a grain of salt. I am against speculation, I might as well visit the 24 hour psychic hotline. :D

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
While it isnt a fact, you seem to heave logic out the door in denying the writing is on the wall for 375w stock xtx watercooled between 1080 and 1080ti speeds...
