You can tell he doesn't know about consoles and how AMD is involved with them.
My first gaming experience was on a console, playing Pong on a Sears Atari system in the early '70s. Yes, AMD has the hardware contracts for some consoles - too bad console gaming is on the way out. In 2016, PC gaming revenues surpassed all others (mobile, console, arcade). Consoles suck, they're for kids who can't afford even a basic gaming PC. They can't save anything, those contracts will be a minor bargaining point during the acquisition talks.

Then what does? Pushing the limits is what drives the innovation. If everyone played it safe we'd still be stuck on SDR memory with everything. Or DDR1 at best.

Saying HBM doesn't matter because it doesn't have any significant benefits.
Please try again.
You totally missed the point. It's fine to switch to a technology which provides significant benefits for the product, but the problem is that HBM currently doesn't. Any rational person would jump on the new technology when it's mature and beneficial.

Seems like these days, TPU is filled with hardcore NVIDIOTS, who will refuse to accept facts and call anyone who presents them an "AMD fanboy"...

Hey, we're not the ones calling a questionable product "revolutionary" just because it comes from a company we root for. And we're not calling you names.
Just some food for thought.
