Vanguard RTG beta testers wanted

As some of you know I'm working along side with Vanguard's AMD RTG beta driver team.
I've got permission from the Vanguard leader to post and invite/ encourage others to apply..
Even if you've applied before and didn't get in, there maybe hope still left, just post in here and click the link below.

I've been here a long time and know who the die hard red team players are

Anyone may apply but we are looking for people to actually participate in the program and not just snatch up the drivers and not participate..

If you participate you will have preference on how the team leader rolls out the beta drivers.

It's a fun environment and everyone actually get along lol.. it's very informative as well as they're always participating in chat and helping rid the bugs out of the drivers.

Any questions I'll try my best to answer them as best as I can.

*I will also be referring members* from this great site that I've been apart of for many years.

That'll give Jake a heads up on where you seen the post and might give you a better chance in getting in.

This thread isn't a guarantee you'll be invited, but a thread promoting Vanguard and just an extra site for the Vanguard team to check system spec's and decide from there.​

I'm new here, but not new in the PC Hardware World. I'm more active in the German PCGH-Forum (since 2009), but my PC experience started in 1997
I have made my registration here only because of this thread.

It would be nice to be part of the Vanguard Tester Team.

Since now I have some experience in Bug reporting, I'm in the Windows Insider Prog. (Fast Ring) an I like to test know bugs if I'm concerned too, try if the fixes work and naturally report the bug found by myself.

Here my Rig:
Asus Crosshair VI Here with an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 @ 4ghz
32gb Ram, Ballistix Sport 2400mhz @ 2800mhz
an as GPU I have my beloved Vega 64 with an EKWB Waterblock

As Monitoring Tools I use, HWiNFO, AF and Wattman, but I better like the "in-House" Tools as Wattman, but because oh some bugs I'm forced to use/help with others.

My English in writing is not very good, but I have no Problem to understand the texts, as other Language I comfortable with German, French and my Mother language Luxembourgish.

I have allready fill-out the questionnaire, but didn't got an opt-in.

I've applied, I've got 1080Ti's in my home rig but for work I use a laptop with thunderbolt connected Vega Foundation Edition (quite good for gaming tbh!).

Thanks fullinfusion,, ive applied a second time. been testing games and windows insider for a long time and an avid AMD gpu and gamer. Been using a computer since i was 8ish, im 32 now. Would love to help usually more active in reffit and othet forums but i lurk and read every news and research. Thx trev.

We are assigned an ID number to our discord user name and I'm like #0166 I believe.. from what i understand from talking to the leader is that there's many of us but very few actually participate in the discord channel. So to answer your question is speculation from head count in under 50 and that's just in the Vanguard discord channel.. but there's over a hundred so far.

They can see who downloads a beta driver and also who participate but at least saying " no issues here" but they just snatch and run.

It's ok though because each driver is tagged to your username and you can't give it to a buddie or anything like that because it then becomes watermarked and if seen online they know exactly who leaked it.. that's a big no no and immediately you get banned and moreless shunned in the world of PC's

Jake is introducing a new wave of people right away and hope to see some fellow Techpowerup members in the channel real soon.

It's funny you mention Reddit as I've been seeing us users twiddling our thumbs at times on finding bugs and Reddit pops up alot and gives some users the ability to see if they to can duplicate the issues.. it's a small world at times but the real exciting driver is on its way this morning and it's going to help alot of users in the near future with big fixes.. I hope you all get in as I can't wait to see some familiar names in there!

I already submitted an application before, but I am not interested in joining that much to fill another one. Besides, I am just a regular user with regular setup who isn't doing any obscure stuff, so my feedback would probably be useless anyway

Either way, I hope this will bring some noticeable improvements in near future.

Guys get in, test and just leach off the drivers and don't post a single thing on how things are working.

I believe the non speakers will always be in and unless they breach NDA that's what will get them the big ol boot..

Also they wont be in the top list when the drivers are posted, they just have to wait longer is all.

Plan is YES, which specific asics, not sure.

They know people want enhanced sync for older stuff and that's all I can tell ya right now.
