Aqua Computer Intros Kryographics Vega Water-blocks

Aqua Computer today introduced its Kryographics Vega line of full-coverage water-blocks, which are compatible with reference-design Radeon RX Vega 64, Radeon RX Vega 56, and even Radeon Pro Vega Frontier Edition, since the three are based on a common PCB design. Available in two principal variants based on block material, exposed copper, and nickel-plated copper; the Kryographics Vega features a rather compact main block, since all the significantly hot components of the "Vega 10" PCB are nucleated toward the center. The block has bases for the "Vega 10" ASIC, and the VRM MOSFETs surrounding it. A POM-acetal extension gives the block a "full-coverage" look as it spans the rest of the PCB. The block features a clear-acrylic top, with an LED lighting strip on the nickel-plated variant. It features standard G 1/4 threading. The exposed copper variant is priced at 109.90€, and the nickel-plated variant at 129.90€.

"horrendous" in perf/$, but not outright performance. And it hasnt stopped the miners from gobbling them up at $200 over MSRP.

Get a EK block for Vega, it comes with a single slot bracket.

Provided you can settle with EK quality...

Once you try Aquacomputer or Watercool quality you'll honestly have a hard time considering EK again.

what's wrong EK quality? i used aquacomputer blocks before, but don't use them anymore because there is never any stock. using all EK now in my 1080 ti and Vega 64 builds, and i do not miss aquacomputer one bit. as a matter of fact i prefer the look of EK plexi blocks over anything AC makes. and that single slot bracket is just icing on the cake

If you don't see a difference in quality between EK and Aquacomputer then you should look more carefully.

Besides hope that you'll never have problems with EK as every single time I had a problem they gave the middle finger, while Aquacomputer always solved the problem (only had one with them in 5 years of being their customer) while ALSO paying the shipping back...

i had a D5 pump go bad in an EK pump/top/res combo unit. they had a new pump at my house in the US 4 days later. shipped DHL express from Austria. that's about it. but the pump isn't even their product. their blocks and rads have been fine for me.

alphacool on the other hand (i know, different company from auqacomputer, but just mentioning it) basically told me to pound sand on 3 of their products that went bad. i did have a few auqacomputer waterblocks. no problems to report but i didn't see anything in them that oozed uber quality. to each their own i guess.
