The Bloody B820R is a sub-$100 keyboard featuring their LK2 Blue and Red optical switches. The keyboard also gets a brushed aluminum top cover, doubleshot injected legends, multiple RGB animations, and backlighting effects to choose from with or without software driver control, and dust and spill resistance round off a good feature set.

I think I would really like this keyboard...if I was still 13 years old. Seriously, the brand is "Bloody?" I like Ducky kbs, and they've proved themselves and established a quality rep, but Bloody? Uh, no.

my brother games on the B700, its without the Num-Pad, has the 0.2ms responsetime, but we found no way to get the backlight to uni-color, so we are stuck with the one color per row style.
overall he likes it for LOL and CS:GO, we got it for about 55 Euros incl. Shipping

Some must be totally sick calling a company "Bloody" + related logo. Not in my house.

(I swear I wrote this without looking at others comments)

Not sure why anyone would ever use any of the animations on this RGB because well... because what's the use.

I fail to see any other USPs, so bottom line, too expensive KB.

1 year warranty also doesn't help

Well, I skimmed through... seems like a somewhat decent value.... totally not my style.
I picked up a Logitech G610 with plain white LED lighting and a roller for volume control. It's even a little on the fancy side for me, but the price was right, and I can se the keys in low light.
For the previous 10+ years every keyboard I've owned was a thrift store purchase. So I'm probablly not the guy to comment on such a thing.
Edit: It was the 610, not 110...

I give you .... Arrogant Bastard, the best worst name in history, afaik.

Anyway, that space bar intrigues me. All the mechanical keyboards I've tried (numbering in exactly three: Das Keyboard high end and some random gaming keyboards on display in a store) had horrible space bars. This even sounds better. A handsome brute if it weren't for the fonts.

EDIT: BTW I haven't read your reviews in a while really (or any reviews) but man I really should. Keyboards are interesting and your reviews are awesome and thank you for recording them.

Oddly enough, I could get on board if it were just "Bastard."
Maybe if their products were actually superior quality..... (I dunno, never heard of them, or "Bloody" until today).
As far as Bloody goes.... I dunno, perhaps if the keyboard actually looked bloody... The design is too robotic, not organic enough. It should have the look of a bugs exoskeleton on everything maybe.
The whole "LEDs on a keyboard is just kind of useless.... Same with motherboards..... Maybe I'd go for white LEDs inside my case--but only to make sure there are no gremlins in there.
Who knows? In ten more years I'll be begging for RGB--they will have friggan hologram Han Solo coming out of them pretty soon.

But seriously though.... "Bloody?" Couldn't spend more than a few seconds coming up with a name? How bout "Bloodforce" or "Hemotech" lol.... You know what I mean....?

Old name of the A4Tech's gaming brand "X7" was better.
About the product I'm sure is good and robust, yet reasonable priced and will work for years, as all A4Tech products...

I'll take a slim, membrane, $15 keyboard over this (and pretty much any other mechanical keyboard) any day.
And I hope the 3-4% CPU usage is only when you actually open up the UI, not while it's idling in the background.

Yeah, just when it is up. Nearly every driver for peripherals goes < 1% when idling in the system tray.

Eh, it should use 0% CPU when idling, but you can't accurately measure that with everything that's going on in the background. Less than 1% is good enough for me.
Fwiw, I realized my trusty old keyboard is an A4Tech. I've looked into replacing it a couple of times, but only because paint started wearing off in a few spots. But I couldn't find anything like it anymore, not even from A4Tech.

That's what I meant- it of course depends on the specific CPU as well, so is hard to quantify universally regardless.

the keyboard seems nice, i am really looking forward to buy it, don't care that the name is bloody. this keyboard would cost me 4700 bdt, where as the razor membrane keyboards cost about 5800 bdt,
i really wanted a mechanical keyboard, and have been using a a4tech membrane, which has a age of more than 6 years (damn thats old).
i recently saw the rapoo vpro v500 Sm which is less expensive, but dont know the brand and has a lower rating compared to the bloody b820R

please tell me whether i should buy this or should i buy the rapoo VPRO V500Sm which is like 2700 bdt

I do not have any personal experience with Rapoo keyboards at this point unfortunately, but that is something I want to fix sooner than later.
