Communism I agree with.

Socialism, I disagree. Ask your average person from Finland how they like their government? ;)

Oh btw, we are ranked 2nd in math and science behind only South Korea/Japan. America is ranked 18. Pure Capitalism is doing well for you I hear. Old people cutting their pills in half because they can't afford it, what a sad life. Such things don't exist in Finland, everyone has peace of mind healthcare and medicine and university and basically crime is non-existent. Socialism is lovely. People still need to work and contribute to a free market society, of course. So I also agree communism is bad.

America is far from pure capitalism. If it was pure capitalism things like the FCC would never exist.

The FCC doesn't exist technically, it has already been bought and paid for by capitalist companies. :) Much like the 300 members of congress who took money from telecom companies. I am pretty sure that is the definition of pure capitalism. I know what you mean though, just having some fun with ya. :D

In capitalism companies shouldn't be buying and selling congress lol... I think there might be a small problem there.

Philosophically speaking though there is no difference, because those same corporations would have had the power to begin with. So it negates itself.

Depends when the government "philosophically" is taking paid favors to advance one company over. That is not capitalism.

That is where your wrong though, the companies are the government... hence Verizon ex-employee getting net neutrality revoked, and lobbyists for every corporation that has succeeded enough to have enough net profit to use as bribes to get their agendas passed. It all negates itself in the end, it is pure capitalism however you look at it, Democracy in the United States has failed, even though Obama was a success, it did not matter because gerrymandering and congress will always be controlled by gerrymandering, and hence, companies. If anything America is a failed state, unable to provide almost anything for its citizens of quality. As long as you live in a nice area though it doesn't affect you. The companies able to buy lobby power are the most successful companies, just as they would have been if the government panels that controlled them did not exist anyway.

If the panels that controlled them did not exist it would allow more than one company to actually exist. Let us take something simple like the FCC and just the nonsense that is US Telecom, how many cable provider options do you have in Finland? Is it more than one per neighborhood? Americas political state is broken, but never call what exists here anything close to pure capitalism. That just shows foreign ignorance. Pay for politics is not capitalism.

Since when Finland is a socialist state? It is a capitalist state, social democracy is a form of capitalism. Gotta love how many people despise northern Europe countries calling them "socialists" and any little form of state intervention is considered the dark touch of the communist baby eaters but haven't read any basic book about marixsm to understand what they are blabbering about.

Finland is a socialist state. Unemployed = 500 Euro stipend to live off. No homeless. Universal healthcare. Free University. Among many other benefits only a socialist country would have. It is still free markets... socialism doesn't have to mean communism... enjoy Spain though mate, I'll be staying in Finland. ;)
