I don't think he's cheating. It's a piece of cake to see you in 3rd person like that, plus he has an m416 with a vertical grip and most likely a compensator, I could easily have made the same kill and I'm no pro! I know the crosshairs don't line up, but if you watch some of your own replays back you'll see the same thing. The keyboard/mouse inputs aren't stored as accurately as actual gameplay, polling rate is much lower so movements look jerky and imprecise. It's possible he's cheating but it's also very possible he's just a good player.

The guy does have a specific approach whereby he stays covered behind the tree approaching the house @Regeneration is in. He's clearly open to the house on the right hand side but is staying out of sight of only the left house. He cannot know which house is occupied (at that range) yet he clearly shows what he is waiting for. It is suspicious.

Plus, the game is still full of hackers. Seen many very dodgy kill cams - been gaming long enough to know a wall hack. Play in a team - less hackers on squad modes.

EXACTLY!!! he was using the tree as a cover specifically for MY HOUSE. After you kill someone, and your low on ammo, first thing comes to mind is loot... not 180 degree turns.

Only thing I can think is maybe he saw you enter that house, but I think it's more likely that you're probably right and he was cheating. Such a shame, I don't really understand what cheaters get out of doing this, just ruin the game for everyone :(

I was inside the house for a few minutes, before he showed up, was arranging my inventory in the first floor, far away from windows. The door to that house is on the other side, he couldn't see me go in or out. As the54thvoid mentioned, he approached area with cover to the house i was in. And right after, he turned his attention to another target :D come on now.

that ones not cheating.

he's aiming down so he can see further with the 3rd person peeking, sees you running past the side of the tree and leans out and shoots you. as said, the fact the aim is off is just the replays being a little off (ping difference between you and him).

he then turned and ran - due to the average recording i cant hear any other sounds there, but if he's like me with a 5.1 headset and heard a vehicle/gunshots behind him, snap turning to focus on it is totally reasonable.

edit: as for the argument about cover in the house, without the full replay and watching/listening to his PoV, you have no idea what he saw or heard. even something like a door being open, or knowing somene fired from that building minutes earlier could have been enough of a clue.

I've seen enough cheaters on Counter-Strike in the past decade, I can basically smell them from a mile away.

The most common hack on PUBG is ESP, it shows all items and enemies. That's what he had, but let's move on.

Look what just happened to me:

This guy has an AUTOMATIC M16, aiming at me through several buildings. Let me guess, he's also a legit pro player, right?

somethings wrong with that replay just from how his crosshairs on the scope jumped around, i've never even seen that before

the rapid fire is a macro exploit, some 'pro' gamers set that up (holding doesnt hold, it spams single clicks)

some pro gamers actually can shoot that fast normally, although it'd be rare

Me and my friends have seen that crosshair jumping frequently in death cams. But.... I think it's PUBG being a bit piss poor at accurate caching of images and latency. It is dodgy though when people fire at you and the FPS view points at the ground beneath them and spins about crazy, while you die. I've seen that a few times accompanying miracle, psychic gameplay.

I got quite bored with this game lately, I think lots of players did...it's starting to die down a bit imo. The final release is still full of bugs and cheaters

Yeah, there is something wrong with the replay: rate-of-fire speedhack, wallhack, aimbot and ESP. Brought to you by China.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
I only see an aimbot and ESP...maybe. There is no way to prove a wall hack..nothing there shows it...

But what... there are cheaters... good call. There are cheaters on every game out. Id say at least half of what people think is cheating really isnt... we've seen examples of that here.

In BF1 anybody faster than me is a cheat .

In PUBG, it's easier to call, especially with Death Cam.

LOL, I think its testing with some fixes... not a patch for the game... although the test servers just got a patch...

No idea what that post is honestly... so random... LOL!
