Cougar has launched another tower chassis to its lineup in the form of the glass-clad PANZER-G. The PANZER-G makes its Cougar DNA known through its orange accents, which give an aggressive look to a pretty elegant case. The symmetry of the chassis has been achieved in a way that guides your eyes vertically through the chassis. It's a mix of industrialized glass, screws and alloy frames that's actually well put together, and the front glass panel and new generation Vortex fan LED design lends to the PANZER-G's subdued, yet clearly present, aesthetic.

The PANZER-G is pretty well stocked when it comes to extra fans and radiator mount locations, and has the expected clearances needed for high-end PC insides (ATX motherboards up to 267 mm in depth, GPUs up to 400 mm in length, standard-size ATX power supplies, 2x 3.5" and 4x 2.5" bays). The Cougar PANZER-G is now available from $120.

Noice, but the airflow must suck. I mean blow. I mean suffocate.

How so? Its the same setup that most big ATX case manufacturers have been using for years. Two (or three) at the front, two or three at the top and one at the rear. This case also has a fan position at the bottom of the case too. My Corsair 760T has this and airflow is just fine.

I imagine he means it's suffocating because of all the glass, which means air can only flow through the slits beside the glass - a common problem when fans are covered by glass or solid panels instead of mesh or grills.

Not a problem if you have static pressure orientated fans. There have been quite a few cases where the front of them was designed roughly the same way.... A good example would be the Fractal Define R4/R5 cases. The front two fans are covered by the door but it still manages to draw air through the sides of the front facia and I know this as I have built multiple machines with Fractal cases. I even owned a Fractal Define XL before I switched to my 760T

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
kinda disappointed.... same shape as the Panzer classic .... and not the one of the Panzer Max ... (asymmetrical shape versus symmetrical )

although the price is neat .... (well the "fabled" MSRP ... rather, tho on the contrary with a lot of hardware in my country ... the Panzer Max i own wasn't too high above his MSRP: 154chf versus 120€ MSRP)

the fans are nicer tho .... i would not have to swap mine for some ML (which literally had a price equivalent to the case itself  )

And it's 4k ready lmfao. i expect better from them.
 yep a little bit ridiculous ... although the VR ready refer to the headset hook (VR or Audio) but the 4k ... if it's only referring to the max length of the graphic card .... it's indeed ridiculous ...

another ridiculous thing, i the claim for the radiators: if AIO, almost no issues, if custom loop with multiple radiators... even the Panzer Max is a tight fit that require rigide tubing and a lot of work to be tidy .... and the Panzer classic (and S/G) are less wide and the interior space is also quite smaller.

oh well i already did had a blow dealt to me by Cougar after noticing the Panzer and Panzer S side panel were made of tempered glass (although i prefer the doors of the Max with the handles ) so that one fall into that category .... with more glass and nicer fans.

This case reminds me too much of the Cooler Master Cosmos series of cases
luckily not with the same price point ... i hesitated a bit between a Cosmos S and my Panzer Max .... my budget decided for me, not regretting one bit nonetheless.
