3.89? It shows 7.59€ for me: still a massive discount, though :D

Idk, I never got into GD. Felt like TQ without the lore and with pretty crappy balance. I mean, I had no problem gearing up to farm Hydra, but burst damage is out of control in GD. Still, I got the game, I even paid for Crucible (but never touched it), but I never had the feeling it measures up to TQ.

It may be that the learning curve is a bit steeper then ... say ... Diablo 3. Can't speak for TQ since i've never played it.

My 1st few chars were all over the place in terms of dmg and protection: they didn't rely on a specific dmg type which meant their dmg was quite low and they were quite glass cannon. Since then, i've learned how to optimize my build and have been able to clear most content on ultimate, with exception of a few nemesis (to which i often have trouble: Grava, for example) and celestials: still haven't been able to kill Mog and Ravager on elite, let alone ultimate.

Once you learn how to optimize the build, most times you'll have no problems: unless ofc RNG decides to screw you over ...

Here's my current build: managed to beat Gladiator Crucible 150 with it a few times.

Good to see GOG getting some love from TPU. :toast::clap::lovetpu:

The very excellent Torchlight's, 1 & 2, are in this sale also for $5 each, worth every penny!
As was mentioned above, the Rollercoaster Tycoons are in the sale as well. 3 wasn't so great, but RCT 1 & 2 should not be missed and include all of the expansion packs for each!

It was and it is, manually download the installer, and keep it on a external hdd.

Back when I played the game, optimize meant to stack as many debuffs as you can (I still couldn't tell you the differences between the 3 types of reductions otoh). And I did just fine. But I got bored. Idk if it's because there are fewer available skill points compared to TQ or the skill trees are too complicated, but it just didn't suck me in the way TQ did.

Also, I don't regret the money I spent (I pre-ordered this, which I almost never do), the game is well worth a try.
