Not that im aware. A List would generally require like the article a working knoledge of how it functions. of course cars work before they break, so even simple media coverage might be enough if you wanted to make a working list.

Ie ublock origin is better then the original ublock Plus. Why? because ublock plus sold its users data to add companies. like ghostry did in 2013. Though ghostry recently closed a deal and is owned by cliqz I think which is run by a german ISP? (might need some clarification) but I know mozilla backs them. That was in feb of last year I think so they (ghostry) are legit now I think.

I know another adblock which while better then adblock Plus also dips into the koolaid with the "acceptable ads" program.

The bigger part id like to clarify is that the core problem is the extensions themselves and the companies that make them. not chrome. I'm also not saying that because I specifically advocate for chrome. Just that knowing is half the battle and its just as easy for especially cross platform extensions like ABP to do the same thing in Opera as it does Chrome for example.

I use hosts file, ublock, meraki's advanced sec lists, and also hundreds of manual mx64 firewall entries, and common sense
